the mayor has banned the foot chases by police because the injuries that the police are getting from chasing after suspects are costing the city a lot of money.

this is a very interesting video and raises a lot of questions....like how did she get elected.

Well, it's fair to say that the Mayor is batshit insane. If you apply her theory, it means that the police can't catch criminals unless they get barged into by them. I see most officers saying "fuck that" and going after the crooks on foot.

Well, that's going to last right up until a suspect the Plice could have chased (but didn't) goes on to kill somebody.

Cue the Mayor up in court facing a lengthy legal battle and probably the end of her political career.

Lawyer So you banned the Police from doing their job, effectively handing people a license to commit crome consequence free, leading directly to this man's death as the Police were not allowed to pursue the suspect on several occaions, he could have been in jail months ago had the Police been allowed to give chase. You gave this order why?
