I really, REALLY hope the PM of Poland gave these gifts to Obama because this is what he's into. If that's the case, cool dude. That's all I'm gonna say.

Obama wrote a note in the Polish PM's guest book, "May the friendship between our nations grow in strength." He then paused and added, "and may Donald Tusk finally get his Paladin to level 85. The guild needs a good healer, dude! [British PM David] Cameron isn't going to heal through Magmaw by himself."
At first I was like :D

I may have made that last part up, but wouldn't it be cool?

How will fox news put a negative spin on this? Maybe Glen Beck will make fun of his character build?

That isnt the most shoicking gift ever... the winner is LB JOhnson giving a BUST of himself to the Pope... Yeah.. the pope...

This is pretty epic, and games = culture, supports polish industry and also shows them catching up, leader is smart...

Gotta send MW2 to russia..

That's a nice gift, though I doubt Mrs Obama will be to happy about the content in that game.

Perhaps Obama should give out copies of Call of Duty or Homefront to diplomats? Worth a try...
Games where all non Americans are marked evil terorists and get slaughtered, wonderful idea :p
But it would quite nicely sum up US foreign policy...

Top props to the Premier Donald Tusk tho, he got some balls giving away a game when half the damn world is writing gaming off as the march of Satan, or atleast top props to the intern who suggested it.

I'm pretty sure diplomats cant keep anything they are given they get cateloged at put on display or into storage (though their may be a value limit on what they can and cant keep, like if its over X number of $) But Im allmost sure it will end up in a pile with comemretive dishes and art works.

As a language student it pains me that a magazine as respected and awesome as The Escapist

uploads/publishes ANYTHING from google translate.. Even if you have a funky name, for shame John

Funk! Or editor who let you do it..

Just imagine what the President's computer desktop looks like, and then imagine the Witcher 2 icon on the desktop. I'm sure it'd look rather out-of-place.

Polish people, start praying he doesn't actually play it, since an invasion is pretty much the only legit response to that insult, if he does |:

Considering the actions of the Americans in those games, it would probably be more of a threat than a gift.

"See those generic bad guys? Yeah, fuck with us and they will be you".

OT: It is nice that gaming is that classy, but Witcher 2? Really? I mean, it's not the worst thing to come out of Poland, but couldn't they just give him some sausage?

Even better idea: start handing out copies of Civilization 5 to world leaders and then have them all play the Earth map together. We can then all watch in horror as world leaders do terrible things in-game.
