$1000/mo. in hush money isn't terrible, though.
It looks like he's stepping up his game. From the interviews I've seen, he kinda seems annoyed by UBI and Yang.
Well NEETbux will only go so far. Not that I'd necessarily turn down a free 1k a month.

The point of this UBI program is to help people alleviate most of the burden of basic necessities, so they can now use their extra money to save and invest. People do want to work and do something in with their lives, they're just tired of having to work multiple jobs just for basic needs.

Yeah, but it's just another safety net instead of truly empowering people. Granted a much simpler safety net program, but still.

"Safety nets" can empower people. They can provide the time and space to reflect on their lives, careers and futures, engage with personal development and retrain, etc. If the alternative is job or baseline welfare penury, people work - and often work themselves to the bone (together with other stresses like caring for dependents) that leaves them precious little time and energy. Those who choose baseline welfare who haven't amassed considerable savings tend to find it intensely difficult, depressing and stressful, plus eroding whatever savings they may have built up just on basic living rather than going towards self-improvement.

I would personally expand forms of adult skills and education for those who want to take those opportunities, but that'd just be interpreted as a load of bums leeching off honest, hard-working people's tax money by the usual suspects anyway.

In general, I hope he gets at least as far as becoming Vice President, as he is the one that speaks the most sense to me. Granted, I also like the Net Nutrality and the extra $1,000 a month, but I have to wonder with Sanders and Biden will he have a chance.

Despite Biden using Video Games as another scape coat, he has the one I see getting it as he was part of the Obama's tenure in office.

It's a shame to see him go, I thought he would make it a lot farther. At least he made a name for himself and was able to outlast half of the candidates and raise awareness on UBI and automation. Hopefully he gets a cabinet position or run again in 4 years. He did good for an outsider.
