I say it like this:

Oh, you mean....
Two-thousand and eleven. It's easier to remember

As do I. 'Two Thousand and Eleven' sounds impressive, mostly due to the 'Thousand', but I'm far too lazy for that, so I go with the shorter version.

I usually drop the "and" and just say Two-thousand eleven, but it's pretty much the same thing.

Seriously, I prefer saying two thousand and eleven. Easier and just seems to roll of the tongue.

Sometimes I say it like Two Thousand And Eleven, sometimes I say it like Twenty Eleven. It doesn't matter to me.
