With the whole slew of serious topics regarding automatic firmware updates, price and autostereoscopic 3D, I wanted to make a thread about the Nintendo 3DS that focused on something less crucial. Since I am facing a dillema regarding the available colours of the handheld, I wanted to see what everyone else thought on the matter.
The only colours that have been confirmed to be available at launch so far (at least in Japan) are Cosmo Black and Aqua Blue. Nintendo has yet to reveal if the colours will be different per region (which is a common practice for Nintendo) and if additional colours will be available through alternative means (such as Limited Edition bundles).

Overall, the handheld hasn't changed much since the E3 reveal. The only major difference is that the slide pad is now light grey instead of being the same colour as the handheld.
Hypotethically, if you decided to buy a 3DS (it doesn't matter whether or not you actually plan to do so), which colour would you choose? Vote and comment.
Personally, I am undecided. While the grey slide-pad and silver stylus fit Cosmo Black a lot better, I really like Aqua Blue as well. While I am a big fan of black, I am not so sure if I would want to go with black in this case since so many other devices are already black (like the PSP). Aqua Blue kind of breaks the mold of typical colours and also still fits well with the black area around the 3D screen. But ever since they changed the slide-pad to light grey, it has become a bit less appealing. =/
