If the idea of having up to 4 people playing at the same time on the same 360 makes you happy then you probably have just as many friends playing games at your house as I do at mine. What I'm trying to get at is that a lot of the time when I play videogames then I am most likely playing with a bunch of friends, which is a big part of why halo is a game we play a lot.

Most of the games out now have only one player for campaign and one player for multiplayer, and even if there is co-op then that only means two people playing at the same time. But I want more than that I want to have 4 people having fun with a great game in the same house, on the same 360 or ps3 or whatever console you have.

So what is your opinion on this matter? Do you think that up to 4 players is a good idea or are you fine with one, maybe you think that 4 players ruins the experience, or you like to throw a good party. There is a poll but make sure to state your reasons for whatever you voted for.

4 player started on Golden Eye 007 for the N64. It was revolutionary at the time but now that most consoles are hooked online people are reluctant to give up there screen space to a friend. It's just easier to lay at home then it is to have 4 guys huddled around one console and TV.

It's not that I dislike 4 people playing, it's that I hate split screen.

On campaign/co-op it just limits your ability to see and causes a distraction via the other half of the screen. On versus it allows you to cheat either intentionally or accidentally and thanks to all the noise being heard by everyone it means that you cannot sneak up on anyone or do anything without all your opponents knowing about it.
