It's hilarious to see how many internet badasses there are around. It's easy to write shit like "I'd disarm him!", or "I'd tackle him! I'd sacrifice myself for my friends!" when you're behind your keyboard. However when you're in the situation you never know how you'd react. I bet that survivalism will kick in and you'll give in and do whatever he says.

That's what I'd do. Because I know my limits and I'm pretty sure that I'd never try to wrestle anyone with a gun, I just enjoy life too much.

it depends, what are his demands?
if his demands are reasonable, and i feel like our lives are not in danger, i would just give in to demands.
if, however, his demands are insane andi feel like our lives are in iminant danger, i would probably try to tackle him and try to disarm him. atleast even if i get shot, i will die with the knowledge that i protected another person

I think I would do the same.
No reason to risk your life if there is no real need.

Well based on the assumption that most people who are stupid enough to put themselves in that situation wouldnt be able to aim the gun to save their lives....

I would get us all into cover and wait for his trigger happy "arse" as the subject so clearly put it, to fire, then we would bum rush* him....

I've been training in martial arts for 8 years, so it would depend on the distance, a lot of variables to consider. But if it's point blank range, I could disarm than proceed to kill him.

My 6th Dan instructor has been training for 30 and he has said himself he wouldn't try and take someone with a gun.

Knife no problem.

(Edit: Stand looking bored, wait for some other 'hero' to try and have a go, then put a restraint lock on him BUT that would only be if I was 100% certain that there was only 1 bullet)

I would most likely just wait for someone else to charge him. He would most likely waste his one bullet on that person, and then I would charge with everyone else and get him.

I'm not exactly the most courageous person.

Fuck it, you can survive a bullet. A summing no matter what something bad will happen and it is an enclosed room, i could realistically get the gun.

My friend is in the Army, I didn't wanna get shot by an airsoft gun he was playing with, I wrestled it outta his hand and got him into handcuffs.
