If the other four people are strangers: "Operation Human Shield"
If the other four people are my friends:
Step 1: Wait until he approaches all of us.
Step 2: Once within 5-6 feet, scatter along paths tangent to his line of sight.
(In other words, surround him)
Step 3: While he's tracking one of us, the rest hit him from outside his line of sight.
Reasoning:
Within 5-6 feet, a single step creates an adequate deal of displacement in respect to the shooter's line of sight.
By scattering along paths tangent to his line of sight, you'll generate the highest yield of displacement per step taken. (Tangent: 90 degrees off his line of sight)
A twin action .44 magnum will not jam, ever. However, you will be able to see how many rounds the shooter has in the chambers if he's aiming towards you.
If you're on the edge of the group, you should scatter first and do so while the barrel is trained on the far edge of the group. This will buy you the most time until the barrel is trained on you. (At 5-6 feet, at the far edge of his line of sight, you'll have about 1.5-2.0 seconds until the shooter has you back in his sights, assuming he's not intoxicated.)
Those 1.5-2.0 seconds is all the time your friends will have to disarm the shooter.
Do not attempt this if you have even the slightest doubt in your friends or yourself.
It would be best if you stay out of violent situations like this.
Peace in our time~
