Well, seeing that I was transported off to another time due to my trouser choice, I don't believe I'd have much of a choice, would I? I'd simply show them the magic of one of the handhelds I happen to have on me at the time was, and then I'd be worshiped as a god.

Hehe, I'd become a god, start up a religion, trounce everything else, then make them all drink... punch.

Oh lord no. Pirates had a hard, dangerous life. It wasn't all just about treasure and fun times - there was scurvy, storms, having to live permanently with an entire crew of cut-throats and criminals, coups, the navy, cannon balls to the face and bad teeth.

No the pirate's life is not for me. Generally the people who became pirates usually had no other choice due to a lack of education and criminal background.
