Poll: A Pc gamer laments about fable 2

oh woe is me.
I have always been a proud pc-only gamer through and through
RTSs and FPSs have resulted in the pwning of me and you
My favorite game, Fable: Lost Chapters kept me busy for hours
I cut down balverines, while the bandit cowers

But it seems I have been double crossed by lionhead
a company so good I have given sweat, tears, and bled
They will not release Fable 2 for my beloved PC
To which my eternal happiness, it is the key

So all in all is it worth the 360 of xbox?
does one game have the charm, grace and mox?
Is one game worth the 300 bones?
is it worth a several month eating only pine cones?

No... Fable 2 is rather Mediocre for it to be a reason to buy an entire game system.

I thought fable 2 was infact amazing.

I chose "yes" because I think the 360 has more to offer. If the question had been "Should I buy a 360 only for fable and never ever ever buy another game for the system" i'd say it's not worth it.

I souppose I'm trying to say "yes" seeing it be a gateway of sorts for you.

Fable 2 is... well... bad. I didn't really enjoy it that much and it is NO reason to buy a system.

Seriously not worth it. Trust me on this. It was ok for a week, but ultimately it's a lot of interested features and ideas that are crammed together into a very glitchy and half finished game.

I loved Fable 1. Fable 2, not so great.

I liked Fable 2, though it wasn't mind-blowing and I don't think any game is worth the price of a console by itself, but maybe you'll like some of the other 360 games, Gears of war 2 maybe.

I liked fable 2, it had its moments. If you do get a 360 for fable 2 then get other games aswell, there are alot of good games that are xbox only that you can try and enjoy.

I don't consider it worthwhile to get a console just for a single game, no matter what game it is. But then again, if you get the console you're probably gonna pik up more games for it anyways.

really isn't worth it no. i say this as someone in a similar position, but already has a 360. if you want to play fable 2, just play Fable TLC again, and pretend you don't have a story, that you never fight jack of blades, and you have some annoyingly useless ai mutt following you around all the time that does nothing but whimper like a pussy and get in the way, and dig up condoms

I got Fable 2 as a gift and I was deeply unimpressed. I want to play it thru just because I'm bloody minded but it is hype over content

I don;t think that Fable 2 is a good reason to buy a Xbox 360 because the game is ok, but it could have been a lot better, it is as Yahtzee says, it is basicaly an upgrade of Fable/Fable: The Lost Chapters, I have had and completed all three, and once you have beaten Fable 2 there is very little you can do, because chances are you have completed all the quests, whereas with Fable: the Lost Chapters, once you have beaten the boss you can still do a lot more, for example i am still working on getting max skills in all walks on Fable: the Lost Chapters. To sum it all up, it is better to buy a Xbox 360 for games that aren't completed in a week.

Only if you're going to buy oodles of other games for your XBox. But on its own.. Not really. As much as I loved it, it's not worth that much money for one game.

I thought it was OK, it's not worth even buying really. I would say a rental at most, if you just HAD to play it.
