That is why I tend to avoid polls when I create threads. It's just too much of an easy way out.

If I vote in a poll, then I always expand on my opinion in the comment section.

1.This has been done before.
2.This topic has been locked before.
3.I never post when I have made a choice in a poll.
Actually I do, I just love irony so much :D

When I have something to add to the discussion, or need to clarify a choice, I will post, but in most polls, there's no need to post.

I usually state what I have voted, but:

Not generally, as most polls negate the need to post.
This is generally my feeling too.
Quite a few polls now seem to not even need responding to. As such, if the only response I would be able to give is just a few-words response, then I generally won't bother...

Actually just the opposite. I will often post and make my views quite clear and then simply not vote on the poll.
What? You don't vote? That's your civic duty you know.
I prefer the term "right" to "duty" myself,I usually post my opinion and then maybe vote.

Firstly, I hate polls. Secondly, your poll is broken. There is no option for my opinion so I chose none. This is why I hate polls.
