Poll: A question about 4chan

4chan is awesome. Those who spout about how horrible it is are either A) are idiots. B) never been there so are just spouting crap they have heard so see reason A again. C) are weak and only checked out /b/.
/b/ is not 4chan. If I want some good shock pics or to fap then sure, I check /b/. But then I go to /ck/ and get some awesome recipes. /tg/ and talk about 40k. /fit/ gave me some great tips to stay in shape. /x/ kept me up many a night with spooky tales.

And ya know what. Some of the most intelligent and open discussions I have had online took place on 4chan because people are free to say what they please without having to worry about offending people and most outside of /b/ do not even want to offend people.
Oh and the whole "its full of child porn" stupidity. They ban you there for that. That is about the only thing they do ban you for. And the mods do a fantastic job keeping on top of that.

I have absolutely no idea what you are saying. Putting letters in // marks doesn't help anyone's understanding. But let me tell you. Whatever that "/b/" stuff is you are talking about, that is why people hate 4chan. It doesn't matter how good the other content is, having that kind of low life, child porn, ect stuff makes the site disgusting. I don't hate on websites or gaming ever, but I do draw the line at this.

The // indicates the message board shorthand. He also adds descriptions about them right after... /fit/ being the Fitness board, gives fitness advice. /ck/ is clearly about cooking, and I've never been there.

Also, in reply to your last lines, if someone came on the escapist and began posting child pornography and gore pictures, would you stop coming here forever?

If it stopped permanently, and only happened once, I still would have a bit of a problem of going onto the site. There is a big difference between 4chan and the escapist. One, on this website there is not porn (regular kind), immature stories and pictures about "furries" etc, and the developers of this website actually have standards on what can go in and out of it. 4chan lacks this, or only gets rid of the really bad stuff. I am not trolling though. I never said you, or anyone else who visits the site are morally lacking individuals or anything else like that. I am pointing out that I have major moral problems with the site.

Ok...that may not be such a good first impression, but uh...hm...it's a bit tricky to convince people the site with self-butt-sexing guys is a place they should check out again. But hey! Could be worse! His own dick could've been in a child's ass. You have to see the good things.

its alright i dont really do many forums other than the escapist. besides, im not really all that into forums other than the escapist

I agree with you there, I don't really go into any other forums then this. Also, no male butt sex is a plus.

Also, I try to stay away from /b/ now, hardly worth the time. But bachelor frog cracks me up.
