Poll: A question about windows 7

Ahem... Ok, basically I want to upgrade to windows 7 as I wanted to move to 64 bit and I can't find my vista disk. When I upgrade to windows 7 from vista, do I then have to re-install and re-take ownership of everything on my hard drive? Or can it do a smooth upgrade where I don't get messed around?

Just for a complimentary poll, is it worth upgrading to 64-bit?

when upgrading to window 7 it asks if you want to Ugrade or do a Custom install. Hit upgrade! it will keep all files and setting and transfer them. It will however ask you to delete all files not compatible with Win 7(mostly antivirus things) but you can install new versions later.
