I picked 'can't decide' due to there being no option for Hooded Justice or Captain Metropolis.

I picked "Can't decide" because I haven't seen the movie or read the book.

BTW, I've heard a lot of people say the movie is good, but which do people prefer? The movie or the comic book?

Having only seen glimpses of the movie in screenshots and only the covers of the comic books/movie companions, I'm going to say Rorschach. Simply because 1. I've actually seen a coherent image of him and 2. His name is so awesome.

I didn't like the movie much, but I would have to say the comedian was probably my favorite character from it. The scene where Kennedy is assasinated and you see him bolting with the sniper rifle was actually my favorite scene in the film so thats probably where I got my association from.

The film is great in it's own right, but you should really read the graphic novel first, It's a masterpiece.
And my favourite character is Rorschach.

I've only read the comics, but the final chapters really flesh out Ozymandias as my favorite. He's just so kickass remorseless, but at the same time so effective as a villain while still trying to do something good for humanity.

I havn't read or watched Watchmen, but here's my view based on what I've heard/read/researched.

Ozymandias - Killed many, many, many... many people for what he deemed the greater good, this kind of character always invokes mass amounts of rage inside of me. Eg. The cult from The Wicker Man and the neighbourhood watch from Hot Fuzz.

Comedian - Raped someone, possibly (likely) many someones. Nuff said in my opinion.

Manhattan - Lacks humanity, its not his fault I know, but nonetheless I find it hard to favour a character with no emotions or sense of right and wrong (the human concept of right and wrong).

Roar-sack... Rawscallop?... Rorschach - The weird name loses him points but otherwise he seems awesome, very definite sense of right and wrong. Admittedly its a con as much as a pro, but its one I can relate to.

I don't know as much about the other two, so I spose I'll go Rorschach
