I need help deciding whether to get GTA IV or Saint's Row 2. I am looking for a game that is stylish and entertaining, and will last me a long time. I've played a little of both, and I like how "wacky" SR2 is compared to GTA, but the latter seems to have much more depth to it. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Oh, and if you choose neither on the poll, please name whatever game you think would be better. All must be for 360, and not be either Fallout or Oblivion (because I played both to death). Thank you!

Saints Row 2 is more wacky, and more fun if you like destruction and going berserk on the city. Although it doesn't last long, the destruction gets boring after a while, and so does the story.

Saints Row 2 is good for fun, but it gets boring quicker then GTA IV I found. Also the DLC for GTA is much better then that for Saints Row 2.

Grand Theft Auto:SA it is a mix between these two but graphics are a bit crappy but still nice. For PC there is also online and is just choas in a sand box.

It's also much more expensive: really a bit overpriced at $20 for new missions in the exact same city. Not saying the SR2 dlc is any better but it is at least cheaper.

I would go with SR2. While the main story isn't as long as GTA4's, you will be driven to do all the wierd side missions and activities: besides being entertaining and fun, they're actually rewarding as well. By rewarding you get cool in-game rewards you can use like unlimited assault rifle ammo, in-exhaustible run, or respawning vehicles. GTA4 had only a fraction of the usual activities and all you get for them are achievement trophies; there's no more respawning vehicles, stat upgrades, or businesses. You don't even get the arsenal for hidden packages. Don't get me wrong, I strongly recommend a rental of gta4 but it's gone from crime sim to crime-drama sim. It looks nice (all realistic and everything) but for pure entertainment value, you'll find yourself going back to Saints Row 2 more.

It just comes down to what you want out of your urban sandbox nice looking, plausible, and with realistic activities like bowling and darts, or do you want something more loud, rewarding, and with goofy activities like Meyhem and insurance fraud. In fact, wasn't that their marketing gimmick: it's like GTA4, but fun.

Red Faction Gurilla was fun, Id recommend it miles ahead of GTAlV, but I've never played Saints Row so I can't say.
