Actually, I prefer to use it in stealth games so that my character can see enemies around corners with his magical invisible parascope.

Also, in Fallout 3 is get Col. Autumn and Dad's gear from the irradiated purifier room.

Although, in Super Smash Brothers Melee, my friend and I often pause the game when our characters are in... interesting positions.
