Me, I can't stand missing, so I try and be as accurate as possible.

What about you, do you care or do you spray and pray?

(Anyone with a fully auto weapon may as well say no)

Nah, I don't care because in MW2 for example sometimes you need to spray bullets to see if someone is hiding behind a wall or something.

Like in Borderlands I use machine guns, but I prefer the burst fire guns that are very accurate, like for much of the game I used a machine gun with an accuracy over 90. I am now using one with an accuracy in the 80's because it has a lot more firepower. But my trusty SMG is still almost as accurate as my sniper rifle.

Of course it's important! In a shooter it proves that you're not a complete moron, that you can put the crosshairs on a mans chest and still manage to pull the trigger. It's not that hard anyways, so failing to shoot a man just makes you... just aweful.

I try to be as accurate as possible. Currently, I have a 25% accuracy in Modern Warfare 2.

I only spray in CQ, that is.. I carefully aim without iron-sights in order to be able to move quickly while hitting my opponent.

Accuracy comes in two forms.

One is carefully plaving your shot so the bullet goes exactly where you need it be.

The other is putting so many bullets in the air that one of the has to hit the target.

I'll use either depending on the situation. No point trying to snipe with a Tommy Gun or spray with a K98.
Admittedly I prefer sniping weapons, so generally I aim for one shot one (or more) kill(s).

Trying to make polls funny just loads the question. Yes, No and a potential middle option would suffice.

I'm a sniper, so I live or die depending on my quick scope accuracy. I hover between 20-21% accuracy in MW2, which is pretty good.

Less bullets it takes to kill one guy, the more bullets you have to kill other people.

I love accuracy untill i enter a building, then (in MW2) i quicky swap to my pistol (which is either the USP.45 or the M9) and spray them. Unless of course I have my Akimbo Slice class out (thats acually what i named it) then its all spraying.

Other than that I LOVE accuracy, it always wins when your more than 10 feet away.

It depends on how much ammo the game gives me and what I'm fighting.

Accuracy matters when I have low ammo, I'm fighting something with a small weak point, or I'm trying to kill something powerful that can be a little tricky.

Doesn't matter when I have a ton of ammo (or infinite), I'm shooting something big, or there's a lot to shoot.

Depends on the game. In Halo or Gears of War it isn't much of an issue (unless you're using a sniper rifle) but in Metal Gear Online, head-shots are always one hit kills, no matter what the weapon, so accuracy is more important. The faster you can line up a head-shot, the more likely you are to survive.
