Are you an achievement/trophy whore? If so, whats the most difficult/tedious achievement you've gotten?

I think my most tedious was getting all the feather for AC2

I go for fun sounding achievements if that counts, like say getting a headshot with a powerdrill on BFBC2 sounds quite funny so i went for it. Other ones which sound like lots of effort with minimal fun I don't bother with. The most tedious achievement i've got is likely the finding all the intel one on modern warfare 2, I did it whilst my internet was down as i'm quite an avid online player (not that game anymore, but others).

Hmm.. I'm not really an achievement whore, as I usually don't try to get them. However, there was one exception...

That damned achievement in Half-Life 2 Episode 2 where you have to escort the garden knome from beginning to end.

[sub]Oh god... It was horrible...[/sub]

An achievement whore and proud!

Most difficult: probably Brass Balls.

If i think i can get an achievement, i'll go for it, but i won't play a bad game for longer than it's worth for them.

My friend fits into the "play till you get all the achievements" category. It's quite sad, I think. But I also suck at most games so...

They have the same one in L4D2 (and it is probably hella harder to do it in L4D2 too).

OT: I like to get the achievements, but since I don't have an Xbox, I don't get the gamerscore for them. So it does me no good. I think I just like getting them for the feeling of accomplishment.

I don't really hunt for all the achievements on a game unless its Oblivion, Mass Effect, and ME2. I would've done everything on those games anyway...

You let me know at what point in Left 4 Dead 2 you have to put the bastard inside of a car and make sure he stays in while you drive around for several hours. That's when I'll admit that L4D2 is harder.

I might play through twice in games like inFamous for extra trophies, but I won't go out of my way just to get a Platinum trophy.

If the game's good why not play again for teh achievements. If a game's great I'll play through it again regardless of Achievements/Trophies.

I usually look at the achievement descriptions to see how I can get the most in one playthrough, but don't go out of my way if I can't get them the first time.

I like getting them, ie: in WoW, I love collecting achievements that earn me things (like Glory of the Hero, or Flame Warden, for example). I'm not TOO compulsive about them, but I certainly enjoy collecting as many as I can.

I try to go for 100% unless a ton of grinding is required. As for achievements I'm most proud of: Mile High Club, What are you trying to prove?, Saint, and 100%ing FF13.

On Infinite Undiscovery, you have to beat the game on Hard difficulty, then again on Insane difficulty, then complete the bonus dungeon that has nothing to do with the story and has redonkulously powerful monsters in it; while at the end, has THE most overly-powerful boss at the end. And for how many Achievement points? 1. Just 1.

I am sometimes an achievement whore, but always, ALWAYS a challenge whore (in MW2).

I have gotten 500 kills with every primary weapon & secondary weapon (except for the Launchers - working on the Thumper, then the Javelin, then the Stinger, then all done).

I am working on getting Mastery for every assault rifle, sniper, and submachine gun. LMGs are too annoying.

I usually go for as many as I can in one playthrough, try and pick up most of the remainder on the second, if I really care to, or if they'd be fun. I usually don't go out of my way for collection quests, though.
