recently I have got into airsoft and often go to a site called ground zero but i have to use my friends P90 as i haven't got my own, though at my school it seems that everyone has one. So last week i tried to convince my parents to "allow" me to get one, to which they said no. i was wondering is my school different or do most people have one. if you do can you say the type of gun and any other gear or weapons. Also if you have more than one.

quick things to note:
im 18
live in the UK
go to a private school (might be why so many people have them)

As an English fella, airsoft is about the most lethal we're allowed to get. I've got a couple of pistols, saving up for something a little bigger.

An Air Rifle, yes. But I hardly use it, my dad keeps the pellets and I keep the rifle itself. It's still pretty cool though.

I've got a full auto G36 assault rifle BB gun and a semi auto P228 pistol, love them, really livened up boring nights back in uni.

Also splashed out on a RAP47 paintball gun, which I put to some good use also in uni. Those golfers and boy scouts never knew what hit 'em.

I have a few assault rifles, pistols and a shotgun. Most of my friends have airsoft guns, so we usually go to my place or another friends house to play.

One of my friends has a good sniper though, and another has this modded gun (forget the name) that shoots faster than legally allowed (in New York anyway)

I used to be really into airsoft. I had all kinds of guns, Mp5, Ak-47, M4, various shotguns and pistols, and the best and most powerful one I had was a blot-action sniper (it hurt like hell to get shot with it, and it was pretty accurate when it wasn't too windy out).

The fully auto guns were battery powered, even had one semi auto pistol, but mostly the pistols were cheap cock-and-shoots. The shotguns and sniper rifle were cock-and-shoot air powered.

Safety glasses are a must. You might want to wear a coat and long pants unless you don't mind the sting of the bbs.

I would host epic airsoft wars at my house. We have and open field with a dirt mound and trees for cover.

Had a SR-25, so it was like a full-auto sniper. Getting ready to go buy a Thompson SMG, plus I have a couple CO2 sidearms.

I've got a Colt CAR-15 Commando (Vietnam era model) Full-auto BB gun stashed under my bed. Haven't used it for years though.

not everywhere, but many places. Also, your 18. Tell your parents to F off and buy one. What are they going to do? You're 18.

I say other due to the fact that I have more than one. An air soft machine gun and an air soft hand gun and a classic copper pellet BB gun.

Edit:

If you do ever end up buying one look on www.airrattle.com, they have great prices, it's where I buy mine.

Kick him out of the house?

Haven't actually tried airsoft, but I am interested in it. Problem is finding a place that does it that I can get to through public transport...

I have some BB guns, some basic little spring action pistols, a springy shotgun, and my pride:
A JG M-4 S-System 2008 enhanced version. Full auto, and hurts like a ************.

The battery is a ***** to put in, but it runs for hours.

I would like to get an airsoft pistol, preferably a glock or a revolver for plinking but sadly I'm not 18 yet. The only shop here that sells these kind of airsoft guns requires ID and I could never get my hippy parents to buy one for me :(

As soon as I get through finals, I will try to get into one of those (paintball or airsoft).
As of now, no, I don't have any.

Preeety much this.

I used to be big into airsoft, but then in the UK they made a law called the Violent Crime Reduction Bill, which basically meant you had to pay a shitload of money and fulfull their requirements if you didnt want a gun that was painted bright green or some shit. Airsoft was a hell of alot of fun, but I hate those bright coloured guns with a passion.

I had a fully auto SVD sniper thing. It wasnt based on a real gun, it was like the bastard love child of an AK47- and a Dragunov.

Now, it is actually as easy to legally get hold of a real shotgun in the UK as it is to get an unpainted airsoft gun. Madness.

So now I play with real guns instead! :D

Do you and your friends have proper licensed airsoft guns? or do you have to settle for those horrid florescent painted ones?
