That is funny, so do I. Is there a certain genre that you prefer? I am an Action-adventure connoisseur. Films like Drive Angry make my month...
Nope, I review everything and anything.

Since I've mostly reviewed good movies so far, it's nice to see a bad one so that people don't think I'm too soft on them. ;)

Both?

It's difficult to decide...

Alien, because it focuses more on horror/suspense... Aliens, because it's more action packed, bad-ass, longer, bigger, badder...

While I think Aliens was a bit more spooky than most recent films, and I would certainly class it as a more "fun" film that Alien, once the grenade launchers and auto-turrets came along most of the suspense decided to wander off.
I also think that Alien was a bit less predictable, which is generally a good thing. So really, it's based on choice. Want a horror? Alien. Want a sort of horror-y action? Aliens.
Very well put. I totally agree that Aliens can be considered a more "fun" film than Alien, particularly since Aliens had more action in it, while the first movie was slower, but more suspenseful.

I went with Aliens. Maybe it because i just seen it more times than Alien.

Oh, and just for fun, in case anyone else hasn't seen this yet:

A word of warning, the fourth Alien movie is pretty bad, and the second AvP movie is fucking awful.
I don't understand how people can consider AvP2 to be worse than the first crossover film.

But maybe it's just because of the wish fulfillment. I've always wanted Xenomorphs in an actual human city. Plus, the Predalien Queen was the first bit of proper originality the series has seen since Alien 3.
I actually liked the original AvP. Sure it was incredibly cheesy but it had much better action scenes than the second one. The second one had way too many night scenes. I could barely tell what was going on half of the time. Plus the ending made the whole movie feel kind of pointless.
I liked how the ending kind of sets up the first Alien film. What I didn't like is how
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!

Everyone got killed off by a nuke. Everything we watched up to that point was not necessary because the town was just going to get nuked anyway. The Predator didn't need to come to Earth at all because humanity cleaned the mess up themselves.
To each their own though I suppose.
