Poll: Alien vs. Predator

Which faction are you most interested in trying out in the upcoming Alien vs. Predator game? And why?

For me it's a tough choice between Aliens and Predators since I've always loved them both. Aliens because they are so freakin' wicked! Predators because they are completely bad-ass! But over-all I think I'm siding with the Aliens. As much as I like the idea of being a hunter, I more enjoy the prospect of being cunningly animalistic. And they just look so freakin' wicked!

Marines? Think you mean lunch.

Well I'll try all of the differen't factions, but I'm going to play as Aliens first; I think they look cooler than the other two.

Humans look like the hardest one to play.
Aliens were fun but I hated those flamethrowers.
I could never get used to all the gadgets and visions of the Predator.

They all are probably worth playing.

Personally I have got to go with the Predator. To go invisible and sneak right up on a marine and decide to releave him of his nasty habit of breathing would be sweat. Setting up ambushes in th jungle while mimicking sounds of fallen comrades leading the survivors to their doom is probably the sweetest thing a game could ever do for me. Plus come on who doesnt want to detonate a nuke just before you die.

Marines because Im tired of them always getting their asses kicked in these kind of situations. Plus I have a thing for human weapons and their aesthetics.
Then Predators and last Aliens.
Actually I'll flip a coin for the Aliens and Predators because I love them both equally.

I'll naturally play all of them, but if they do one of the campaigns really well, then I hope it's the Marine. The Marine campaign is what made the first game a masterpiece, the others were just good.

Besides, since 1999 we've had a lot of games with various kinds of stealth, the Predator is now easily the most generic character in the game.

Predator - Able to cloak, Incredibly lethal with blades.

Alien - Whole body is a weapon. Slender, and filled with Acid.

Colonial Marines - Humans with guns.

Marines because they have Kyle Reese. I mean Cpl. Hicks.
And if Reese can beat the Terminator, and the Terminator can beat the Predator, by the trasitive law of film characters, Hicks can beat the predator.

Predator has a great honour code and awesome gadgets.... but nothing can ever compare to my love for Alien. The cool bio mech design and the way they impregnate victims and of course the acid blood and secondary mouth... awesome. Besides as cool as Predator is and how nice it is to see them as the closest thing we can ever have to an ally... Alien is classic.

Humans are only good to provide skulls for the Predators and bodies to be impregnated by the Aliens.

Personally, I think it would be awesome if the predator plays in 1st person mode and the aliens play RTS style.

If they did that, I'd be tied between choosing either.

Predator, than Marines. Aliens, well they're fun and deadly and all, but they're not as badass as the Predator or as much of a challenge as the Marines (or so it looks)

Depends. If they are relative to each other as they were in AvP2, then I'm going Alien. Predators were overpowered, in many ways. True, skilled players could use all races on equal terms, but as long as you weren't very good at the game, Predators was the nobrainer. What's taht alien, trying to outmaneuver me? Suck on my homing plasmabolts. What's that marine, trying to catch me with your motionsensor? Well, I'll just cloak, and sit still with my speargun.

Predator was actually only on equal footing with the others, if both other races were present. Or if the players were skilled.

Also, Aliens are cool. Just waiting in a dark ceiling, watching that lone marine wander underneath, drop silently down and take off his head... Yum.
