So, after about a week of constant ME3 threads (about the ending or otherwise) I noticed a lot of people noting that all the threads about it were really getting on their nerves. It's been more than a month since it's release now and it's quite clear the multitude of threads about the game is really irritating some people.

So I ask (accepting the irony that I am adding to the pile of ME3 threads by asking) are you irritated by the amount of ME3 threads? Do you believe all conversation on the topic is worn out? Or do you still want to talk about it because you think there's still stuff to be said? And can a topic really ever be worn out?

I don't mind, I really don't understand the gag reflex some people seem to develop, nor do I understand the mindset of clicking on it and remarking how much you wish people would stop making them, thus bumping the thread up and keeping it alive longer.

:p And this is what I find absolutely hilarious about all of the ME3 threads. At this point nearly ALL of them start with some wording of "I know we're all getting tired of the ME3 threads, but I'm going to go ahead and make one of these annoying little buggers anyways because what I have to say has only been said 100 times and not the minimum 1000 times before it officially becomes stale."

I would say I'm more irritated by people regurgitating the same sort of things on most of the threads. Also I get annoyed as soon as a sliver of news about it is mentioned, there are 5 threads pop up. Especially when the fourth and fifth pop up about twelve hours after the news has happened and they must have seen the previous topics about it.

However, I still think there is some worthy discussion going on about ME3 so I wouldn't say that they are "bad"

I agree. There are good conversations being had, but I totally understand (and agree, to an extent) with people who are annoyed by it. I've seen more than a few threads in which the thread creator says (paraphrasing), "I know everyone is sick of all the Mass Effect 3 threads, and I know threads like this already exist. But I felt my opinion would just get drowned out, and it needs to be said..."

People like that? There should be a mechanism on this site that would suspend them from making threads. A lot of the rest of it is actually ignorance. You see a lot of new users making these threads. There's really nothing we can do about that as a community, just try to redirect them to a thread already in progress and then move on.

I just think people need to learn how to post in existing threads.

The threads about the ending, they are annoying to see populating the front page of the forums.
All other ME3 threads, good good.
Why?

Because it's not about the fucking ending. :D
