There are tons of war games out on the market nowadays, and they all boast different aspects that are different from other games. My personal favorite types are those including total destruction, and a team. I really don't like the idea of playing as just one person fighting against an entire army. I like the games like Battlefield Bad Company where you get an entire team, even if only one character is playable.

I think it depends on the game, and who you're playing with. If you're with a random squad then I would prefer to be alone, as they get in the way and can be VERY annoying if they have mics.

Both are great, the only real factor to me is the team itself. TF2 is one of my favorite games, but it is only at it's best when you're playing with an intelligent and co operative team. Otherwise, it's more fun to roam the wastes of fallout 3 by yourself, then trying to capture enemy intel with a group of idiots.

A team, provided they're either real people or computer controlled bots and aren't acting like total retards or getting stuck on scenery and shooting irrelevant targets, respectively.

Yeah. Going alone is fun for me. Especially on Halo 3. On Legendary. 4 times. I lost my sanity a loooooong time ago....

Alone is the way, I love to play the 'lone wolf'. I think when your alone is more intense, bringing up your reflexes.

Depends what game, too. I don't want to play Left 1 Dead.

I like team stuff, but only when they co-operate. I prefer games to have deathmatch AND team stuff though. When a team works together it is more fun, but if they are not co-operating or whatever, I tend to do my own thing. I did have alot of fun though with teams as I used to be involved with clans in CoD2, but since we were all used to eachother, we worked together.

It really depends on the game itself on some occasions i rather depend on myself instead of bunch of retards. on the other hand a teamwork can be so orientated that it can be considered as art.

I found out earlier that Im still damn good without a team (see link, may have to log in to see it though)

But I do prefer working with a few friends, organizing a good attack plan and pulling it off cleanly. Makes me feel more engrossed within the game.

Edit: BTW, anyone who watches that replay should note that I am jayhogan18, AKA the solitary blue dot for the last half of match.

Im indifferent, However i am more solo orientated.

Basically i prefer team games where my profession/job can be swapped very quickly so that my actions can have a great influence in the outcome of the game.

I'm indifferent.

I like to play co-op with friends, and team games if I get to chose who I play with. Otherwise, I'm good playing on my own.

It really depends on the game. I like team-based games, but a team that won't cooperate or just sucks can all but ruin the experience. On the flip side, a good team makes a game 10x more fun and satisfying, at least for me.

So yeah. It all depends.

I love games like Call of Duty that give you an unlimited amount of allies, because it really immerses you into the moment and you really do feel like you are part of a huge battle.
