On its own, it isnt THAT bad, its more that no man can honestly say its that great compared to most things of the current generation. If this were released in 2004 it'd probably have been masterful.

...what about the romance scenes? (I kid I kid)MellowFellow said:I think you summed it up pretty well OP. I found the game fun and the story I thought was very good and your choices did make some differences in the story, some bigger than others. The combat was meh, but the AI in the game was terrible. They are idiots, and they are a few glitches sometimes. Overall though I thought the game was underrated compared to some of the scores I saw it get.
I found the conversations in the game to be very well done and the most enjoyable part of the game. The game at least makes you feel like you are a part of a spy movie.

Bad form. I bet you are the kid that yells 69! in classrooms.
And besides, what does "a poor man's mass effect" even mean? Mass effect has been out longer, and has been subject to more time for price drops, so if anything Mass Effect is a poor man's mass effect.
Well I can tell you that all they showed was the main character kissing a girl and then the screen goes to black (so it is assumed you sleep with her).zombiejoe said:...what about the romance scenes? It isnt exactly "bad combat" more like "Flawed stealth". I have said this countless times but yes, Alpha Protocol (which I regret buying) is the 2nd grade Mass Effect containing nothing that it does better at compared to alot of games except for timed dialogue which I found to be the only interesting thing in the game (which many people find annoying).zombiejoe said:Ok, I havent played the game yet, and I plan to try it out, but from what I have heard, this describes it well. Bad combat, but good story. That's basicly all I truly know. So am I right?
