But do you need to be really precise with the shank, or is it enough to imagine the inscription really hard while you shank the guy?

Because I'm not sure I could shank an entire decorative inscription in a guy before he'd turn into a door.

I assume it's like believing real hard in fairies to bring Tinkerbell back, but instead of clapping, you stab someone. And then they turn into a commemorative plaque.
But you have to really believe, or he'll just turn into a door. Probably something boring, like the doors they have in stairwells with the bar you push to open them.

Although continuing along this man-punch-door train of thought, how hard do you have to hit someone on this scale to turn them into, say, an automatic door?

Perhaps how fast you punch also contributes, in which case, this fast?
