Why? I'd think that was cool if someone called me Phobos with reference to that. In fact I would be flattered.
Why? Because 'Deimos' is so much cooler a name. Besides, 'personification of terror' has a better impact to it. SCREAM, YOU SONS OF BITCHES, SCREAM!!
eh. Terror. Fear. I'll go for either. Long as I'm not fucking called Aphrodite......Though of the goddesses I'll take Athena.....and a few others....

'Aphrodite'... yes, born from Cronos' balls, and as corny as you can get. Of the Olympians, I, too, like Athena's aesthetic the most (like in Athena Giustiniani, if only it had her shield), though I'm generally drawn (as far as the names are concerned) to the lesser known goddesses/deities (Eris, Megaera, Alecto, Ker etc. hmmm... what's the common factor among them, eh?).

lets see
Eris-strife and discord
Megaera-jealousy and envy(erinyes or furies)
Alecto-castigation of moral crimes(erinyes/furies and sister of Megaera)
Ker-female death spirit(s)

Surprised Tisiphone isn't on that list......

gee apart from the fact that they are all female I have no idea(since sarcasm doesn't translate well over the net)

they all have to do with unpleasant parts of life and humanity. Parts that people moreso condone rather than embrace. Unless of course you mean something else by that.

And if you want lesser known Alecto would be my choice. Though mostly she is thought to deal with just anger(brain slightly fuzzy so i think this is correct. Too lazy to google search atm).

I was meaning more with what they represent. I'd rather be a goddess of the hunt rather than love and beauty *scoffs* and Athena has always appealed to me. Ever since having to read The Odyssey in 5th grade.

*meh* The fact that they're all female was incidental... it's what they represent, that I was getting at. Still, if you want male: Thanatos; Hypnos; and Moros. Anyway, yes, Alecto is the spirit of 'implacable anger/rage'. And weirdly, 'Ker' is the singular of 'Keres' but also a name in its own right, she represented death as caused by destruction.

Anyway, 'goddess of the hunt'? Thought that was Artemis... And yah, Athena embodies quite a few cool things: wisdom; war (as a strategist); divine intelligence; and the crafts (interesting mix, eh...).

Eh as stated my brain was fuzzy due to me being tired but i still feel bad for mixing those two. however they are my two favourites. and lets see

Thanatos-god of death(or personification)
Hypnos-god of sleep(or personification)
Moros-god of doom(or personification)

Ker I have only heard of as Keres so....*shrugs*

I'm not entirely sure of who my favourites would be male wise.......Though Ares does spring to mind as one.
Dolor
Dolus
Ira
NOSOI
Those four would probably be it.

and even though she's a goddess, Lyssa as well cause she goes with all of them.

Well, today's conversation did start at about three in the morning for you... or something like that. But, apart from the three I mentioned, I'm not a big fan of the names of the others, though actual Greek historical figures (or demi-gods/heroes) have interesting names.

Anyway, why Ares?! He was a sex crazed maniac who wanted to kill anything that looked at him funny... didn't he?!

*grins* If you knew me in real life it would make more sense. To sum myself up: Overly competitive female who most of her friends are male and like to pick fights with. [small]and recovering sex addict[/small] @Mackheath can vouch for some parts of my personality. At least what he has witnessed over our numerous skype calls and such

LOL, should I run away now?! (Though for one reason or another, a part of my mind finds itself cackling madly...)

So, Ares would've been perfect (or at least at some point...) for you. =P

EDIT: Just saw your photo... bite me! Bite me, now!

Uh, I'll be over there... *slinks away*

Heh, the photo was the pic on your profile (the vampire rabbit that is both very cute, and decreasingly disturbing... yeah, my mind needs to be kept on a tighter leash methinks).

awww thanks. I is vampire bunny girl. And my mind won't stay on said tighter leash. That photo was actually drawn off a description I gave someone. Its a character I created out of the recesses of my mind. And tend to use occasionally in RPs. I modify her to suit my needs.

<<< Sucker for girls with glasses...

I wear specs too, and feel strangely exposed without them on. My orig-fic protagonist is a glasses wearer, as well, only to make him cooler I made him monochromatically colour-blind (I'm red-green colour-blind IRL).

And very nice. I have a guy friend from high school who i colour blind to the colour green and I use to tease him constantly in high school over it. Not so much now but every so often I'll tease him for it. I have a few guy friends colour blind to the colour red which sucks when I'm trying to get opinions on how i look.....and how a colour looks on me.

Heh, I actually found out when I was six, when the kids from my year did Ishihara tests... didn't know what it was for and freaked out when I could identify anything while everyone else just fine. Not nice... Still, when it comes to clothes, when your taste is concerned, it's less about the colour and more about the shape. ;)

I like being able to see colours. and colours do matter. I look really terrible in brown. Though I do have a brown skirt I look great in. Some shades of blue look terrible on me. And white. Oh. Dear. Lord. I know I'm pale but not THAT pale. So colour does matter quite a bit.

I suppose that's true... but most colour-blind people can still see colour, it's just a few that they confuse. And I'm much the same way... most pale colours just look... wrong on me. (Not that it matters, I have a monochromatic wardrobe.)

I have a black and red wardrobe mostly with some blue and occasional white mixed in. And a few other oddball coloured shirts.
