So, there is a situation for you. Your plane crashes in a desert/tundra/jungle or whatever.
Only 2 people survived. Affter a couple of days, you wandered far away from the crash site, and you have no idea where you are. The only person with you, is another passanger you dont even know.
Affter a few more days, the other guy goes insane and tries to kill you. You defended yourself and killed him.

Now, the main question: Would you eat him?

I dislike these topics because I feel that in the majority of hypothetical questions the answer given by the person is misleading anyway because no-one knows how they would react in the given situation.

I have no idea what I would do sorry.

Unless the there was an abundant food supply, yes; no point in letting his body go to waste.

Not unless I was close to death.
His family would want a proper burial. If they ask how he died, I'd tell them he got sick.

This type of "would you eat another person when in a life threatening situation" subject has already been brought up before. Most poeple would probably tell you yes (sadly enough).

So, simple answer? No.

Long answer: If the person in question is trying to kill me then I would most likely try to defend myself, but not in intent to kill. I would have enough sanity left in me to know that eating him could very well endanger my well being, rather then keep me alive longer. Since I'm on a deserted island/jungle/desert/yourmum, and not stuck in some hole with no way out, then I would use my energy to look for other means of food. Human should really be your last choice.

Precisely, (aren't you a vegetarian?), I think the topic needs to be better defined.
Haha! Thought someone would pick me up on this. Yes, it's true that I'm vegetarian, but this person was not killed for food, so therefore it is, to me, acceptable to eat him. Like morally I would be happy to eat roadkill, though I'd never actually want to because that's just gross.

Do I get to cook him first?

If it was entirely necessary to live. But, of course, this is purely a hypothetical situation and may need some more defined parameters.

Yes i would eat him before the parasites did. I would hope he didn't have a disease. By eating him I'm trying to bait Irony into making civilization appear over the ridge where we could have avoided the entire event

I would if there was no food around. But if I were in a jungle, I'm sure there would be something to eat.
