Poll: answering your own polls

whenever I make a poll I have the urge to answer my own question to see how it is going.
What I ask of you escapists is: do you ever answer your own polls or do you just let it slide?
oh, and yes, I did answer this poll.

I do, mostly for convenience so that I don't have to click the view results button every time I want to see the results.

Well, you can see the result without voting. (There's a little 'view result' link there somewhere)

As for the poll itself, 'sometimes'.
It all depends on weather I intend the poll to be an overall consensus or if I intend it to represent the opinions of others without my input.

Yes, but not just so I can easily see the results. I also do it because, even though I've made the topic, I'm still a person. I still have an opinion, and the right to one, so why not let my opinion be shown in the poll as well? They still allow the Prime Minister and his family to vote in the UK, and all other MPs and their friends and families are still allowed to vote, so why not vote in your own poll on an internet forum? Not doing so is just silly...

I voted "possibly". Not made a thread yet in this forum, but I've always voted in my own polls in other forums.

I like to think my opinion is valid

The only poll I've made was for opinions on the review it was attached to so I refrained from answering due to personal bias. If it was something more like this I probably would answer though.
