I often find myself drifting off into random thoughts or spacing out when I'm supposed to be concentrating on something. I'm often daydreaming, and I frequently say things that make sense to me but somehow get lost in translation from my mind to the ears of others. This is especially common if I've been daydreaming and say something related to the daydream, which I of course understand completely but sounds utterly random and wierd to everyone else. I used to frequently be subject to "earth to *name*" style comments when younger, and also forget what I'm supposed to be doing from time to time. Upon happening on TV tropes, I seemed to fit a lot of the characteristics of a cloud-cuckoo-lander at times.

Anyone else have a habit of saying or doing things that cause others to remark that your logic is not Earth logic?

My mind whirrs at a mile a minute sometimes, leading me to think ahead by multiple topics. It leads to astonishing non-sequiters.

For example, we were having a discussion about respecting other cultures, leading me to suddenly blurt out something about female circumcision. The connection is there, if you kinda tilt your head and squint, but it did lead to a rather awkward silence.
