Poll: Arachnid dude: One more thread

So for those of you who don't keep up with comics at all, Spiderman is a guy who does whatever a spider can, and who life continually sucks for.
There has been some debate as to whether spiderman is better married or single, and writers have done things like have him make deals with Satan where he gives up his marriage in order to accomplish something in order to accomplish the writer's goal of getting him unhitched.
How do you prefer Spiderman to be?

As long as he's doing what a spider can he's Spiderman man. He could be a Russian midget for all I care (though that would stink, nothing against Russians) and as long as he has the suit and he shoots webs from is wrist and sticks to stuff then he is Spiderman.

Though honestly if i had it my way, Him and MJ would have married long ago, then she would have died making him go crazy and kill the murderer in an act of revenge.

Just so people who want min and MJ to be together and people who want him single can both be somewhat happy.

Single. I am so tired of the women always getting in the way. No sexism intended, it just seems to be the way they're portrayed. And a teenaged Spiderman...I remember watching this awful cartoon version of Spiderman, where he was a teenager. Oh wait, I think that was Iron Man. Oh well, that was equally awful. Just seems like a way for the writer to exercise his Hamlet complex without being called an emo. Look at me! I am Spiderman and I just radiate with angst.

But I don't follow the comics. I could never afford them. So I don't know.

Although the barely contained glowing praise it gets all over the page does sort of influence my opinion.

I'm a firm believer in 'making it legal', mostly because of all the legal rights and protections provided to married couples. I imagine it's much easier from a legal point of view to maintain a secret identity if he's married.

But aside from that, I don't really give a fuck as long as he keeps slinging web.
