I was just wondering everyones opinions on lasers whether u like them or whether they are pointless bits of plastic that focus light?

Lasers - are they cool?
depends on the frequency, some are quite hot and might burn you or even metal.
Thats the kind you wish you could shoot out of your eyes! or a gun, that would be neat as well.
but yes, the concept of concentrated light being able to create patterns or burn things to a crispy crisp is quite awesome.

They're awesome!
Some can cause blindness, some can burn straight through metal and craft awesome metal artwork.
Some can even start Fusion reactions with heavier isotopes of Hydrogen!
And they distract cats!
