Poll: Are ouija boards dangerous?

They're dangerous in that they make completely misguided and ignorant people believe in things that aren't really there. The very fact that some people actually answered yes shows the danger to intelligence that these things are a part of.
The supernatural, religion, crazy metaphysics, horoscopes, etc. They're all contributing to the dumbification (it will be a word) of humanity. Anyone who accepts something as the truth without there being any physical evidence at all is not in any way shape or form using intelligence. The only "evidence" out there supporting stuff like this is purely anecdotal and coincidental. No causation has ever been shown.
So physically dangerous? No. Danger to intelligence and therefore society as a whole, I guess.

It's a children's board game, but it has way fewer and less swallow-able pieces making it marginal safer than say... Monopoly or Scrabble. Most people stop being scared of the dark and 'ghosts' when they hit puberty.Raddra said:

Well the board is not dangerous. It could be compared to a telephone only used to contact other wordy spirits. However if you use it do be warned.
1. don't let them into the real world
2. don't tell them there name
3. don't believe them
Also on a side note all Christians are protected from Demons however if you are one i don't suggest you provoke demons.

As long as you don't play it after dark and never ask when one of you is going to die you should be fine. Have fun!
They're about as authentic and dangerous as the fortunes you get from those little cookies... except they don't taste as good, and you don't get the fun of adding, "in bed," to the end of every line.

Nothing would probably happen if you don't think it would happen. One of the paranormal things I DO believe in is that you can jinx yourself by shitting your pants about this stuff to much.
