Poll: Are Ramirez and his team due to come back in MW3? And are you excited more to the campaign or MP?

I will be sad if they just drop him and his squad in favor of someone else.

Are you excited for the campaign or multiplayer parts of it? I'm definately looking more forward to the campaign.

I honestly want to see how they a pull a plausible finale to this series. The first one, was somewhat plausible, I mean you could suspend your disbelief and keep going with it. 2 on the other hand?

That game was crazy.

Looking forward to it though. If the multiplayer has some semblance of balance to it, it could be MW2 but with all the unbalanced crap taken out of it. I'd buy that.

I'm more interested in the campaign because it looks bat-shit crazy. Seriously, driving an inflatable dinghy between full sized battleships going at it? Why the fuck not!

I'm more interested in the multiplayer, because I've always disliked IW's SP and liked Treyarch's SP better.

Nahh, the only good thing about W@W single player campaign were the Russian bits, and even they were merely adequate.

OT: Campaign. Multiplayer is the same game over and over again, and is really no good for anything other than time-wasting before you're ready to wank again.

How come?

I thought WAW single player was okay, but Black Ops didn't hardly have a story which was a turn off for me. I didn't like it. And they had laser and red dot sights IN THE 1960'S!! lol

For WAW:
1) I <3 WW2
2) It might be because it was my first COD

For BO
1) I thought it had a better story than MW2 (First Cod I really "played")

As there's no dedicated servers, I'll be buying it for the campaign on console. I'll only play local multiplayer with friends. Call of Duty 4 on the PC will remain my CoD game of choice for online multiplayer.

I personally can't wait for the multiplayer. The new point streak options for support and specialist makes my day. I also can't wait for the new spec ops. As much as I love animals and would never condone harming them in real life, exploding pooches look awesome as enemies.
I'll probably do the campaign a couple of times, as I do with every CoD I buy, but first week or so will be spent in multiplayer figuring out what weapons I am going to use, perks, and point streaks.

I would do both MW3 and Battlefield 3 this holiday, but battlefield games (not bad company, as in my opinion it is another separate ip) will play best on PC and I refuse to download Origin until their terms of service are changed. It's the same reason I'm going to miss out on The Old Republic.

That's true. At least it attempted a narrative instead of yahtzee-ing a bunch of war scenes together. I like WWII as well but it was getting old for the COD IP (and old for video games in general). COD4 was my first one.

I'm not sure. The demo level that we get has us playing as someone completely new. Then again, it's not uncommon in the franchise to switch characters, but that would mean we switch between three at least (Soap, Ramirez, new guy). I also heard we're going to be playing as different nationals too, so there's even more characters. So, unless we're going to be killing off the player character a lot, this might get confusing.
Totally looking forward to the campaign. Don't care about multiplayer at all.
