I'm still waiting for a WWII shooter that let's you play as all of the major powers in a singleplayer campaign.

In addition to playing as the Americans, British, and Russians; I would also like to play as the Germans(maybe during the Invasion of Poland or Operation Market Garden) and the Japanese during the invasion of the Philippines.

If you add all the movies, TV shows and games together our fantasy WW2 has gone on longer then the real one.

yes for me it was medal of honour that killed it for me they kept bringing out these world war games and after awhile it killed it for me plus i dont mind using the old rifles and that but if some ask me to pick between a rifle that i have to reload after every bullet or a gun that can hold 30 bullets and its automatic i know witch i would rather have, i never even bothered with call of dutey world at war even though my mates says its the best thing since sliced bread i cant really be bothered with playing a world war game the only thing that seem's appealing to me about it is the narzi zombies but am not going to pay 30 quid for that feature of the game when i can just put on left 4 dead and shoot boomers.

NO MORE WORLD WAR GAMES PLEASE!! unless if its done from a different angle of perspective that hasnt been done before or truely amazing but when i mean amazing i mean SUPER MARIO WORLD AMAZING lol =]

I grew tired of them a long time ago and I doubt my interest in them will ever return.

I'm sick of all shooter games with the one exception of Left 4 dead and it's soon to be released part 2. If it isn't scary or hillarious then I simply wont play a shooter game. Halo is supposed to be done now but oh look, lets milk the poor dried up cow some more with ODST or whatever the hell they are calling it. I better controle myself or i will go on a halo rant lol.

And yes, world war 2 is so over done that it's on fire and smokeing. What about the new war in the east? Can't we change nazi solders to terrorists? There is so much more creative potential! Suicide bombers, bio war fair, and nuclear weapons oh my!

Getting old? Pffft. I am soo sick of them I sometimes want to go back in time and kill Hitler (A man I greatly admire) just so we do not have to endure another generic, mindless, lack lustre shitfest set during WWII.
Or .. you know.. buy a couple of his paintings...

OT: It's been over done since 2003. 6 years later and I'm cringing at every WW2 game I've faced with.

Of course not! How could you possibly get tired of the Normandy invasion which almost always rips off the intro to Saving Private Ryan? And how could you get tired of fighting your way up the same damn corn field to destroy the same damn machine gun nest which is placed on the same damn dirt road which leads to the same damn town with the same down church tower with the same damn sniper which shoots the same damn soldier which then causes everyone to freak out the same damn way which then leads to you holding off the same damn nazis which the same damn guns while you wait for the same damn tanks to come and save your ass.

NO MORE DAMN WWII GAMES!!!! Seriously I could do that for every single mission in every single game that is about WWII.
