I like the show. I enjoy watching it, but that's the limit of my fandom. I refuse the term 'brony', because I try to stay away from online social fan clubs of the show, because some of the most devoted fans are, to put it politely, fucking lunatics.

I've never seen the show. Though I have seen the videos putting clips to various game trailers. The animation is good.
I'd like to dispel the subtextual idea that the only reason people don't/didn't like My Little Pony was because it was for girls. Personally I didn't dislike My Little Pony because "it was for girls". I don't care who the target audience is, if it's good, I'm behind it. I disliked it because it was terrible, repetitive, formulaic and.... bland. Surprisingly, for a show with so many colors it manages to be so monotone it's scary.rancher of monsters said:

You could easiy say that about the fandom for anything though, couldn't you? Like those who become so obsessed with a band that they begin stalking the members of it, or the overly obsessed sports fans who fight the fans of the other teams, or that one girl who likes Harry Potter she wrote the fan fiction "My Immortal" (I'm assuming you know what it is but if you don't, don't bother looking it up) so pretty much, you'd be wrong to assume that My little Pony has the worst fandom, trust me, there's worst. You can still be a fan of something without having 17 posters of it in your room, or writing/drawing really disturbing fan fiction/fan art.Sansha said:

I'm certainly on the way to becoming one. The show hits a weird balance, being cute but not nauseating, cheesy but not over the top, and occasionally it's pretty funny!
