I'm pretty different online...if you met me in reality, I'd be much more introverted, and the most you'd get out of me at first would probably be a mumble or two. Once I'm comfortable around someone, however, that shifts, and I'm about the same online and off.

I'm exactly the same person in real life as the person you see right here on the internet.

I don't see the point (or fun) in pretending to be someone I'm not.

Heh, I'm much more eloquent on the internet. You can stop and think, and revise your thoughts as you go.

In meatspace, you make a typo mid sentence (verbal typos, heh) and people will stare at you. On the internet you can go back whilst writing and fix that shit.

It's brilliant.

Depending on where I'm talking, I may me more or less intelligent than I seem in the real world too.

I don't change personality, but I do talk a lot more. I'm much more talkative online than in real life.

I guess depending on the subject, if it is on an idealogical issue I am solid with my beliefs, but maybe I am a bit more aggresive when I dislike someone.

I try to change personality all the time. Including the internet. I try to stay flexible, you know?
Indeed well played old chap.

Anyways, yes probably a bit, I mean people you meet over the internet can't really harm you.

It keeps the army of exploding penguins at bay...yes it does.

I'm the same person online that I am off. Though I do tend to try to measure my words more than offline since it is mixed company.

Quite a bit... Online I'm more approachable and less likely to bite a person's head off. I feel just as shy usually though. I'm nicer and more friendly. I feel I can express myself and I feel I can say I'm gay without having to worry about someone trying to bash my head in with a bat.

Do you change personality when nobody knows who you are, and you can say your opinions without people judging you by your outside? For me, yes. On some sites and forums, I change into a sarcastic, cynical bastard, cause it's in some cases enjoyable to be a smug jerk and that's how I feel on the inside most of the time. I'm not the kind who yell out idiotic hate and stupidity and write like his keyboard has glue on it, but the kind who likes to argue with the aforementioned glued idiots and prove how they are wrong in their aforementioned hate, cause it's entertaining to read how they angrily misspell every word in an attempt to insult me, while I spell like someone who got an A+ in writing and wants to brag about it (which would make sense, cause I usually do).

In real life, my outer appearance stops me from being this kind of person, which drives me nuts. On the Internet, the ones you talk with gain respect by your intellect or your wits, while in real life, most of the first respect and impression comes from the persons outside, which is a sad fact.
Isn't that kind of redundant, considering if most people, with the exception of you of course, are different on the internet, then they would not admit that they're different because in their mind, they aren't different while they're on the internet. It's a ginormous pathological paradox. *BIG WORDS FTW* I'm grateful for the fact that my appearance doesn't, for the most part, stint me from being the cynical bastard that I am.

Not really, except in that I'm more likely to speak my mind in situations I'd stay out of in person.
I also sometimes feel more comfortable talking about my life online while I'm more of a private person in reality.

I act somewhat different on the internet. I'm more likely to call people out for being morons online, for instance. In real life, I'm generally more polite... even when I really shouldn't be.

I'm different in the sense that I talk more on the internet. But if I wasn't talking, I might as well not be on here, so that doesn't really count.
Also, I don't have the chance to jumble up all my words in a big sentence. Sadly, that's something I do a lot...

I'm a lot nicer on the internet.

Anyone who says that they don't change on the internet are liars.
