Poll: Are you a fanboy?

Simple question are you a fanboy? and if so how far are you willing to go to defend your platform/genre/whatever it is your a fanboy of. note this isn't limited to the console wars but more of any genre as in movies games etc. if your a fanboy state how far your willing to go to defend your genre. If you aren't state why not. I personally am a huge fangirl and have very strong opinions though i tend to keep them to myself MOST of the time. Oh btw search bar approved.

ie: I know product A is better than product B because of logical reason C, not because of emotional attachment or sentimental nostalgia.

That said yes I am a dreamcast "fanboy" because of how fucking amazing the system was, and yes, I'm a mechwarrior "fanboy" because I actually enjoyed the series, and I'm a fallout "fanboy" for enjoying it and thinking it was actually a good rpg, you know?

OT:A friend of mine is a PS3 fanboy, and his only arguement is 'Xbox is shite', and that he has 'Playstation Home'.

1:ALL consoles are bad in some way.
2:I couldn't care less about Home.

I'm surprised he never uses the whole 'free online' thing.

I think I used to be a fanboy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, defending it at every point, then I realised I need to lighten up, I got an Xbox, and while I do defend it, only with valid, and justifiable reasoning

i sorta avoided that for a second run through because it hated vista so much but when i played through on xp it was really fun .(though i liked kotor 2's combat system better even though the plot was RETARDED)

Not really, what I like I defend and accept that other people have different opinions or different ideas of what's good in a console/game. I use a 360 because that's what I think is best and since I don't belong to any particular genre, except maybe the umbrella term 'action', I don't think I can be classed as a fanboy for that.
