console wars are lame. I don't care for the fact that we're supposed to join teams and fight one another over which console we bought. Imagine if we did that with appliances.

I'll defend the PC until any game made for a console isn't dumbed down with bad controls and the console exclusives become playable. Right now all you get on consoles are garbage games that would have been better on a PC. Well, they're probably not all garbage, they're just not my type of games.

I only buy console I know I will fucking love. So far I have every Sony Console and a decent enough gaming PC and I love them.

By traitor I mean someone who buys a console (or PC) then regrets their choice and procedes speaks down against their platform.

I used to own a PC that could be considered decent for gaming, however after getting sick of WOW and owning it for a few years I soon tired of missing out on console exclusives,, and the problems that come from a platform without standardized specs. I wound up hating on PC gaming. However currently I own a mac, and while I liked owning a mac for the first 90 days, once games like tf2 came out I immediately turned coat and started hating on macs and apple. On the other hand I currently game mostly on Xbox 360 and PS3 (using gamefly). I tend to defend both of these consoles. however I also bought a Wii (off of my friend for <100$) and I tend to flame it. So I guess I would fall under the category of "I defend a platform I own when it deserves it".

No, because no platform (or for that matter any thing in this universe) is perfect, so if something screws up then I will critique it as I wish.

I personally don't believe in limiting oneself to only one gaming platform, and getting behind a single platform like a crusader is equally as idiotic. When it comes to consoles, none of the current gen consoles really impress me these days and I still pine for the glory days of the last console generation and do most of my gaming on my PC. I will not defend one over the other. I will stand behind whichever one is being openly attacked at any given time, reminding all involved the idiocy of limiting oneself to only one platform.

Loved my 360..when it worked. But three in a year half!? I'm sorry, no way. Never again. I will be buying whatever Playstation comes out before Xbox's. I was so impressed by the first xbox and how much fun I had with it that I got the 360 out of the gate. I'm sorry but the red ring thing is Bulls$%^t.

As far as gaming machines go, I have a PC, PS3, and Wii, as well as older systems like my PS2 and N64. I tend to appreciate them all equally, recognizing their individual stengths and flaws... with the exception of the Wii. While initially enthusiastic about it, the complete drought of half-decent titles has caused me to shun the system. Did I betray Nintendo? NO! Nintendo has betrayed US!

The PC was bought by my parents back when I was 12.

Your point? Doesn't change the perspective that you seem to go turncoat at the drop of a hat. Maybe it's because hate is a strong word (but I really really really don't like you); it implies something much stronger than simply "I developed a dislike for it". No, it comes across more as "FUCK YOU, PC!" *couple weeks later* "Hello, PC? I'm sorry! I want you back!"

What you're saying would be true if I did want PC back. But I'm pretty happy with console gaming at the moment. What I was trying to say though is that I don't like having a mac because the option of playing TF2 for a couple of hours is impossible. That is until next month. I'm probably going to stop hating being a mac user around then.
