Well, my idea is to wait for him to pull up in a dark carriage, and when he gets out to offer a hand to the other place, to nut him and run the other way.

Not really if I were to be honest. I've tried to do what I can in life and enjoyed it just fine, I kind of half belief in an afterlife and well, even if there is no afterlife - my brain will be dead and I won't be able sense it and be miserable. So either way it'll be fine.

I've always said, I'd rather die than live in a state as a vegetable, or in pain. I stick by it.

Yes. I think that we lose consciousness when we die and that just scares me, being nothing, just being another body. Then what? Probably nothing, it would be nice to reincarnate I suppose but I doubt that will happen. Just sitting in nothingness for eternity...

I wanna live forever and be immortal. I don't know what happens after death and I'd rather live in a place I know works. Sure other people make it less bearable, but I'd rather take some discomfort over no guarantee of anything.

death? no, what happens next yes.

to parhphpase hamlet "To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die, to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream ? ay, there's the rub:
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come"

in Truth its what we all truly fear not death itself but what comes next. we dont know and thats one of mans greatist fears is the unceritnty of it all

Fear of death is perfectly natural, keeps you alive and makes sure you dont just walk up and ask a very large carnivore how hungry it is.
So yes i do have a fear of death, but i am willing to accept the fact that every creature, myself unfortunately included, must die at some point. Can you imagine the overcrowding if everyone was immortal?

Not really afraid of death, but I sometimes feel sad thinking of all the stuff I'll miss out on, 100, 200, 1,000 years ahead. Wish I could experience the future... ya know? See what happens.

Death is an eternal sleep in which you do not dream, honestly I'd rather have the eternal torment of hell or the eternal boredom of heaven, but that isn't happening.

Yes. My mind cannot comprehend never waking up and never dreaming.
I also fear pain from slicing objects. I can deal with blunt objects but for some reason the thought of being stabbed freaks me out.

I've had too many close calls, too many times when I legitimately thought that I was going to die to be afraid now.

Jack Sparrow sent me to settle his debt.

But I view death as much like a cold pool;

... it's fine, once you're in.

Almost died at 15 when I had fully body paralysis and my heart rate slowed down to a crawl. Honestly I wasn't afraid, I didn't want to die but the notion wasn't terrifying to me either. I've more or less made my peace so now I take each day in stride and live.

I plan to live to a ripe old age have some kids and try my best to live well and be happy, thats pretty much what I aspire to.

Well that and ultimate power...

Sort of. I am not afraid of death in and of itself, but I don't want to die before I've done anything worthwhile. I don't mind the idea of dying at a ripe old age, or even a reasonable age, so long as I can feel proud about what I've done with my life. If I died tomorrow, I could not say that. How many 19 year olds can?

I wasn't afraid to die for most of my life.
Then I became romantically involved with very wonderful woman, and I woke up one day and said "I want to live". Since then I have feared death.

I guess death was only worth fearing when I had something to live for.

People that live their lives fearing death are really letting themselves down. Death is going to happen, YOU WILL DIE ONE DAY. But to me it seems that the only people that are truly afraid of death are generally young(er) people.

My grandmother is 85 or something like that, she isn't waiting to die, but by the way she talks about everyone else dying you can tell that she is ready to go, it is just a matter of time. So she does what she can to enjoy what time she has left, not that she is sick, but she isn't well either.

I have notice this behaviour in other elderly people as well.
