Eh, sometimes. Anybody can annoy you after a while. But my brother and a good few of my friends are good company, even if they act like Call of Duty games are the only ones that exist.

Well, my family's awesome, so I always have something to fall back on.

Friends, well, yes and no. Long story short, I've fallen into a little clique of people I have nothing in common with, who I don't like that much, and I know aren't that keen on me. We get on, don't get me wrong, bet we're friends out of habit than anything else. Well they're more friends than each other and I tag along, if you know what I mean.

Short story even shorter: I don't have a spine, and everything I don't like in life is down to me, so I try not to complain much.

I'm not socially awkward, I'm just weird. Whenever I find someone I get on with really well, they move to Scotland. Seriously, it's happened three seperate times.

I'm not alone, I have a girlfriend....but I sort of don't want here anymore...it's weird. So I chose: No, but want to.

I don't have the stones to leave her, with her being suicidal and all...

Oh, I also have friends, family and all.

I wouldn't mind either way.

At the moment, I'm popular, well-known and alone, but I don't really mind, because at my age, all you do is kiss a lot in public, apparently "do it" *snigger*, then break up over something trivial i.e. JACK S***.

So yeah, once I outgrow these hormone-fuelled clichés I call schoolmates, then mabye I'll check out the dating scene

well, in one sense no. my family and friends are always a text or quick drive away.
but their is a sort of companionship i lack and i do feel a yearning for, especially right before i fall asleep.
their are some nights i could really use a snuggle. probably the only time a guy will ever say this but, screw sex i just want someone to be with.

edit: i miss my cat. even if i can finally read now it was nice having her around.

I prefer to be alone. I go out with people every weekend, but for the most part I like being alone because I can be on the computer all day and no one will say anything.

Thats how I handle things too. For most part I like my solitude with a computer but then do the occasional social thing to satisfy some inevitable desire for human contact. Even if just to be reminded of dumb most of them are.

I am kind of half and half. I like being by myself but sometimes I can't be alone. Sometimes I sit and read quietly or play games by myself or I will text/call twenty people so I can have some contact with people.

I'm single, and I live alone, but I'm not lonely. I've always been kind of a loner anyways, meaning I enjoy the quiet solitude and not having to talk to someone when I'm not feeling like it. Even though I have quite an active social and dating life I enjoy comiong home to nobody with all their peace and quiet.

Well I have a few good friends. So I suppose not. But on the other hand, most people don't like me(not really a problem) and I no longer have a girlfriend(bit of a problem). So I don't know, things are alright.

The loneliness is nice most of the time. People get really annoying most of the time. Most people wonder why I don't want a Girlfriend (Or tell me I'm gay. Even though if I was, I wouldn't want a boyfriend) and I just say "I like my right hand ALOT."

Usually gets the to back off.

Strangely enough I'm almost never alone, I'm a pretty popular person. But that doesn't stop me from feeling alone, especially after breakups.

Sometimes I feel that way. I have friends and family but I've had plenty of experiences in the past that have made me lose all my trust in them, so in a way, I am indeed alone. But there are other times that I get over that and go to them anyways (though half the time, it bites me in the butt. >.>).

As for everything else...yep, I listen to music alone (I prefer it that way), watch TV and movies alone, and also play games alone. The last one kind of bothers me because when I met all of my friends, they all used to really like games and now, I'm really the only one that plays them and they constantly give me crud for doing so. Meh.

Even I don't understand myself fully, but somebody else couldn't hope to.
I help myself with my problems, I don't need anyone other than me.
I agree with this. There is no one who fully understands me, although people get can get "me", they only get close, not exact.

I don't mean in the sense that you haven't seen your mates in a couple days I mean in the sense of are you lonely?

Do you feel like you don't have anyone you can turn to like family or friends? Or don't have anyone close to you who you can just go see and enjoy yourself with? Or do you not mind be alone a lot? Or some other explicable reason?

Wondering because for some reason I sometimes I feel alone. I don't know why because I have great group of friends and family, etc. But I can sometimes find myself telling myself I am alone and I dunno why. Ever experienced sometihng like this, and what do you do to cope? Or are you actually alone? Do you care?

... Incidentally, how many of you prefer to watch tv/movies, listen to music, play games alone? (not related to poll just answer in a post)
sounds like you need to get yourself a girl my friend.Trust me,it's hard work sometimes but when you get it,it's wonderful
Girls aren't always the answer. Sometimes they're more trouble than they're worth. No offense to any girls reading, maybe it's just the girls I've been involved with.

GF broke up with me last week. Got over most of it but every time I see a couple on the street or at school, it will probably bring up a feeling of disappointment for a while.
