I know what I like, and I've consumed surprising amounts of alcohol in one night and still never woken up with a hangover.

Not quite as much as Mr. Celtic_Kerr above me, but close enough.

I know what I like, and I like what I know. That said, every time I see an ale I haven't tried, I have to try it. I guess I'm reasonably experienced. Doesn't mean I can drink a lot, though - being stupidly skinny and rarely eating anything means I get drunk quite fast.

I think im a experienced drinker.

I do enjoy a glass of wine while eating. And I love having a nice tall glass of bourbon patiently waiting for my mouth to empty it while I am playing. I rarely drink myself into coma, Just barely a haze. But the downside is that I am doing it more frenquently over the time and slowly drifting into a alcoholic habit.
I like the taste of some brand, and never mix it with soda or juice. That's do mean I spend alot on good bottle.

I know I can drink an amount of alcohol that would kill a normal human and wake up without a hangover. That is my extent of my drinking experience and knowledge.
You. Me. DRINKS!

I remember drinking an insane amount of alcohol (a 1 Litre of Vodka and a 1 Litre of Peach schnapps) had a few beers, shots, and coolers. I was wasted that night but woke up wanting to go for a job at 6AM
You live in Canada right? I know where that is! *drive*

That was over the course of a night though wasn't it? I more had an Irish carbomb or two, ~15 shots of vodka, and a mixed drink in a little less than hour. According to various charts I have found that shot my BAC up to .45-.6 (LD50 for alcohol is BAC of .45). I knew half my family being alcoholics would pay off eventually(Seriously, both grandfathers died from alcohol, my uncle had a BAC of .762 and lived, and I am pretty sure my BAC is .2 by default)

Am I experienced at deliberately ingesting mind-altering and body damaging toxins?

No, it's not really a profession I hope to pursue.

I drink anything and everything. I have quite a reputation among my friends when it comes to drinking. No one wants to even try to out drink me. So, I would say that I am experienced.

However, I really wish I wasn't. It would be much cheaper if I hadn't built up my tolerance. Things get expensive when going out with my friends.

I've been quite a severe drinker for a few years and it was not to look cool or see for myself how much I could manage (most of the time I drank alone).
I'm still not stupid, but I do realize that my memory is a bit scattered and aren't as sharp on some points as I used to be. So all in all, from a hypocrite, don't over do it on regular basis because you need more and more to reach that level of oblivion than before. And it's not worth it.

I downed a bottle of Jägermeister and several beers during one late afternoon, and drove home the following morning with a BAC of 0.0. Not only do I piss scotch, but I shit cast-iron anvils.

I used to get upset when there was blood in my alchohol system (i.e.: I was getting sober), then I watched a friend die of alchohol poisoning.

Now, I just have the odd beer or glass of wine or mixed drink.

When I was a student I was quite the piss artist, but age and wisdom slowly got the better of me. Aint saying I don't get sloshed and horribly hung over at times, but nowadays it's more like a couple of times a year, not each weekend.

I've come to the point now that I can go out for a pint, and leave it at that. Quality over quantity more like.
Used to be I drank the cheapest swill they served, now it's more about finding trying out new stuff.

I just drink for taste and socialness. I don't binge or get wasted. I like bourbon with ice (Soco is my fave ^^) and cider, preferably with different fruits such as pears and berries (Koppeberg ftw!) I also enjoy the occasional glass of wine, usually rose.
Born a Scot, I know alcohol is no mystery here. Kids grow up with it, the heritage of our country involves whiskey and it's common for grandads to drink and so on. Also, as the age restriction here is 18, and parents can buy alcohol for their kids freely, its a common thing here. I think thats why most people here don't actually go binging, they are used to alcohol and don't feel the need to be all rebellious etc.

I've got quite good at holding my liquor. (after a year or two of a weak stomach) I've got a good nose and taste for all manner of varying wines. I prefer English ale to lager due to its bitter smooth taste and i always enjoy drinking hard liquor. I never water it down with shite like coke or lemonade; i don't see the point and i hate weak flavour. I tend to go for double shots of bourbon or scotch.

I'm a regular clubber, so I know my way around a vodka. On my 18th I had a lot of beer and ended up urinating on the doors of the Legislative Assembly.

Just recently turned 21. I mostly stick to beer and limit myself to one drink per hour (unless I have a designated driver, but even then I don't go crazy)

Sorry to snoop your profile, but you're 4 years younger than me, which means you are in your mid-teens... you are still a kid...

(Drinking like a kid is NOT drinking, cause they're not allowed to)

Go nuts, have fun. I don't drink to get hammered, I drink and have a good time and sometimes i don't get drunk at all. It can be fun
Kids drink anything they can get their hands on, and they drink it fast. I drink a lot more these days (with my hand on my heart, I'd probably have to admit that I've got a problem with the booze. I can't remember the last day when I didn't have a few drinks) but I never get as fucked up as I did when I was a kid. It isn't as fun, either - as soon as you can drink legally, going to a pub loses a lot of it's thrill. These days, I only really drink as much as I do because sobriety bores me. I've had drug problems in the past, and now I've transferred all of that to booze. Not a good idea.
