Despite some more cynical posts, I'm an optimist at heart. Wouldn't have gotten through life up to now if I wasn't optimistic at times.
Yep, I'm the same way as this guy. Sometimes doesn't always go to good in my favor.Twilight_guy said:I'm more optimistic. That's most because the vast majority of people around here seem to have prescribed to this postmodern cynicism of everything and I'm the kind of guy who can't stand a one-sided fight so I'll take the side no body wants. Personally, My life might not be rainbows and unicorns but I'm not going to act like a sad sack of crap because of it.
Same as me, but I'm actually taking a philosophy class this semester at college.Fertro said:That's pretty much me. Except for the philosophy courses.FalloutJack said:I am the cynic who looks at what he sees and has an opinion grounded in something largely resembling fact, interesting discussion, and a twist of comedy. I am also the cynic who likes to be pleasantly surprised. Many of the bad things I might see coming a mile away? I want to be wrong about them. Besides, there is also the anti-cynic cynical approach I have. Cynical behavior can work both ways. I can just as easily not believe the words of ANOTHER cynic, and thus turn the board around weirdly. It helps that I took a number of philosophy courses!
