Poll: Are you interested in Rage?

Just wondering if anyone is looking forward to this game. To me, it looks exactly like Fallout 3 but with less slow-mo and more cars...

It seems the only reason to look like Fallout 3 is the post apocalyptic depressing atmosphere.

It looks ok though, might get if it gets good reviews, its not like im jumping out of my chair and going to a midnight release or anthing though.

I love id, it's the company that got me started gaming with Commander Keen and Wolfenstein, so yes I'm very interested in Rage.

However after the latest Wolf I'm slightly more sceptical, but if this is good I'm going to blame this for that being somewhat average. I'm pretty sure this is going to be better, they seem to be putting more effort into it.

I miss Rage. Once upon a time, you'd come home anywhere between midnight and dawn on a weekend, flick on the teev and you'd get weirdarse music videos or live performances from bands that don't suck. Simulcast on the national youth radio network as well.

The world is a suckier place since it went away.

I have no idea what this Rage music channel is. I am from England. All we listen to is classical music and The Beatles. It's true. Honestly.

Rage the game, however, is id software's latest game, and has a website I think... Just google "Rage" and "id"

Couldn't care less about it. Ok, that's not fair, I care even less about most sports games and whatever generic FPS is "hip" these days. Also, Id hasn't exactly been particularly productive lately, so I can't really give them the benefit of the doubt. Overall, I'll be pleasantly suprised if it gets good reviews, but I won't be keeping my eye on it.

Ok, I for one don't think it looks anything like Fallout 3, besides it being in a wasteland. If anything, this looks one-hundred times better (personal opinion) and the voice acting sounds way better as well.
id Software makes great games and I'm pretty sure this one will be great too and they always take their time, which I admire because they're trying to make a game as perfect as they can with their low finances (but they're acquired by Zenimax now, so that's good too). It's a day-one buy for me since I just buy anything id puts out.

All I've heard is that iD software are doing a lousy job coding it for the PS3 so it won't run at 60 fps. Screw that - I'm not willing to give my money to half arsed developers.

Also, they are supposedly forcing even their development team to use 360 controllers when testing. A strange step for id, who has been primarily PC up until now.
That said, I will keep my eye out, but if the versions that aren't xbox suck, no way I am getting it.

According to PC Zone magazine, John Carmack has said the it's a console based experience. PC Zone really flipped out at that one. It's almost like there's some bizarre rivalry between console and PC gamers.

I'm very interested. I always wanted a Mad Max-ish post-apocalyptic racing-shooting game, and this seems like it. However, I'm not willing to buy it if it's poorly ported to PC's (GTA IV comes to mind).

Where's the "it looks okay, I won't get it" option. I don't buy games I think are merely okay - I get games I think will be fantastic.
