The title says it all, really.
Inspired by another thread, I pose to you a simple question:
What do you think of World of Warcraft?

Yes I used the search button, and no this has not been done before.

Edit: just to make it a little more clear, you don't have to have actually played the game to have an opinion on it, or participate in the poll.

Well, WOW got my good friend his girlfriend, and the little time I spent with it was fun, so... I'd have to say I'm pro.

Overall a bad IMO game. Grind, grind, some more grind, lame PvP if you have good equip and no skill.

I think it is a good game to a certain extent but it is also pure evil. Can that be added to the poll?

Other: It's fun, but can become tedious. High end raiding is was good, before it became stupendously easy. There's lots of fun bits and silly jokes about the place.
Once I got off it though, I did wonder why I played it so much (Day1 to 1 month into WoLK)

It's good if you can avoid addiction, but it wasn't the game that did that to me - it was the players.

Yeah WoW was great before the Burning Crusade. But I do love their cultural references.

Never played it, no strong feelings towards it either way. It just doesn't interest me much, me and MMO's haven't gotten along well in the past.

EVE beats all I'm afraid:D WOW is just more grinding gameplay that you pay for, EVE is many times better.

Yep! She even flew here from Phoenix, Arizona to visit him for a weekend, and she'll be coming back over the summer. She's a very nice girl, and I'm really happy for my friend.

Neutral. If someone wants to play a game that doesn't affect me, I say go play it all you want.

From what i understand eve is only interesting for the high end politics, and is deathly boring in actual gameplay.
Meanwhile WoW has bugger all politics as guilds can do very little permeanant harm to each other, but is a rather more amusing game to play (I did actually play the free trial for that one, but got a bit bored towards the end).

it's pretty much the definition of someone with no life for me: paying subscription to go online and fight digital monsters to go up in levels with your "friends" who youve never met

Bad, bad, bad.

I can't stress this enough.

It is my personal belief that Blizzard can all rot on the side of a dirt road. They're stuck so far up their own asses that they can't see without opening their mouths to congratulate themselves.
WoW can pull your social life so hard out of your ass that not even haemorrhoid cream will soothe you.

I nearly lost one of my best friends to this game. It was only after seeing the impact his obsession had on the people he interacted with (not much while he was in those dark times) that he gave up.
I think the final straw that broke the hold over him was when he heard I was writing a song about it on Guitar Hero.

On other notes... £102 a year (last time I checked)?
If you want to get rid of your money quicker, go to the bathroom and stick it all up your ass. It'd probably be more pleasurable than this game in any case.

Never played it. Got bored with MMOs about 8-9 years back. So I have no strong opinions one way or another. I guess you could say I'm a neutral. But what makes a man turn neutral?
