With the advent of the only GOOD looking Batman game (and only one I'm excited for) coming soon, (Arkham Asylum if your wondering), I thought I would ask.....

Were there any Batman games that you actually enjoyed? And if so, why and for what system was it for?

I personally enjoyed Batman Forever for the SNES. It was a fun game to pick up with a friend when you were done with Killer Instinct xD

I don't hold much hope for AA.

I mean, it would be great if it were great, but games have been really bad to batman in the past.

but maybe we're in a Renaissance of gaming and the stars are aligning.

I just watched the teaser trailer for Arkham Asylum. I love that they have the animated series voice cast. Not really many details gleamed from the trailer though. Just a pan of the environments.

Yeah thats real likely. And Web of Shadows, Rock Revolution, Wii Music and Legendary were what, exactly?

Don't count on this game being good, we know virtually nothing about it. And when has a game going from comics to consoles ever been good aside from Ultimate Spider-Man?
well, I'm sure there were real boners in the real Renaissance.

We just dont hear about them

Game Informer had a large in depth coverage of it in.....November last year I think? Or maybe February this year.

I'm interested in it because it seems like a mix of Batman and Chronicles of Riddick : Escape from Butcher Bay, which, I don't care who you are, I will say you have no taste if you say that CoR:Escape from Butch Bay was a terrible game.

Anyways, can you link me to the trailer?

They all sucked, until Lego:Batman
he's probably right.

and it's actually kind of crazy that MK vs DC is actually getting some decent reviews from places that I generally trust.

lucky for me I don't have any money to spend on anything, let alone games that might be good because of that fact :p

I enjoyed Batman Vengeance, although that was based on the Animated Series (and didn't give you enough handcuffs, dammit), along with Lego Batman, which is based on much the same, it seems.

AA seems like it could be good, but I'll only ever be certain when I see some decent reviews. That said, it does seem like it's off to a good start.

As it stands, Batman Vs. The Joker in MK VS DC is probably the best Batman game, other then Lego Batman.

that's kind of sad.
