And now for my weekly thread, the piranhas have mostly been fixed with the last patch.

Now as the idea pant is running low with my thoughts drifting towards education, money, and the opposite sex I come to you all here with this thread, asking you, the Escapist community what your commitments are. It will be interesting to see what everybody here is forced tied down to shackled to responsible to do (yes that shall do).

For myself I have school, my job at the pet food store in town, this thread series (and look how well that has been doing ho ho) and... something else probably. Anyway enough about my boring responsibilities, what are YOURS!?!?!?!?!?!

[sub]Also if you could vote in the poll it will please my ego curiosity as to who likes these threads[/sub]

School, the homework from school, and my <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/2-50-Reviews>review series are the main ones.

I also need to start playing about 70 games, as well as watch over 90 movies (and then review them).

Fun times ahead! =D

My commitments... Well, talking to friends and going to school. I'll be trying for a job and college, though.

For me? I have a job. Its working for me.

Not much else really. I'd go to college, but I know how big a commitment that is, so I'll wait until I'm ready.

Oh, and I'm an admin of the Halo Group. And my commitment there is to make the wait for Reach so unbearable the users will try to freeze themselves. Its fun.

Oh(again), I'm also a councilman on TIEM [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/TIEM-Magazine]. I'm the post of the month judge. So if you find a totally awesome post, or any totally awesome posts, send them my way. Just no self-promotion(no recommending your own posts).

School, the people I've made arrangements with, Anonymous, and whatever it is I do at radio. I've really no idea anymore. Last time, I spent half an hour popping all the bubble wrap I could find. Great job. My commitments are somewhat questionable. The two most important things for me to remember/do right now are that a) I have a movie date thing that I mustn't forget and b) I need to make cake.

Women are illusive creatures, I suggest a net. Maybe some music.

Can you make cake while in the theatre? Like a portable oven or something?

Efficiency man! You must always take that into account! Whats more romantic than ignoring your date to watch something slowly groew?

I could, but I don't think he'd appreciate that very much. Unless I gave him some cake. I shall consider this, it sounds quite feasible. Worst case scenario, the movie sucks and my cake fails. In which case I will throw cake at Michael Cera's face.

By the way, I totally didn't just figure this out, but is Urahara doing the Smooth Criminal dance? I only recognise it because I spent one day learning it, before giving up.

School, moving over to England, visiting Australia, eventually moving to Canada, getting another job, going to college...
Yes, these are things that I've made commitments to do, not just things that I want.
The college is the biggest commitment though.

Uni, two bands, WoW, weekly DnD games, Jiu Jitsu and MMA and my girlfriend.

Busy busy!

Also - As much as I commend you for some thought provoking and intelligent threads (something that is less common around here..), I don't think they should be limited to once a week, and I don't think they should be advertised in a way that makes you sound like some day time talk show host.

If you have a good idea for a thread, post it.

I get where your coming from, and I may change the name, however I will say this. I'm a notoriously lazy bastard, and what making weekly threads does for me is forces me to use some of those threads that pop around in my head throughout the week. Otherwise they will just fizzle as I level my paladin.

Plus if I can be a quasi reliable source of a halfway decent thread on Sundays for some people, then I feel successful.

Don't forget the Orphans for cooking, and the goats from all around usefulness (although you'll have to rent them).

It's a risk worth taking! Plus if your going to see Scott Pilgrim I'm going to guarantee one of those won't fail.

And as for the dance I don't know really, all I care about is it's Urahara looking awesome. I'm a simple minded creature for things like this :)

Marching band, homework, school, friends. Honestly, that's enough to cause me to stress. I'm not used to having a full schedule.
