Poll: Attack on Titan - Which military branch would you join?

Meh. the military corps is only inept at fighting titans because they lack experience.

But thanks to the way the training works out, they do tend to all have been elite students.

Me? Dunno. The person I'm reminded of at times is that crazy 'scientist' that goes around with the scout regiment.

Honestly? In a society like that I wouldn't get into the top 10 of a job whose primary requirements are all physical skills.

joining the scouts would get me killed, and I'd never get into the MP in the first place...

Even so, chances are under the circumstances I'd probably still join the scout regiment.
If I absolutely HAVE to fight, might as well go all out.

If we are talking about it as reality and not in a fictional sense, then I am absolutely at the farthest post away from Titans. Sure it's a great fantasy to be the hero of all heroes, but in case you haven't kept score that is one guy out of thousands that just stand by as mid day snacks. And I doubt being chewed on by a giant demon babies is a pleasant way to go.

But if we are talking fictional and no harm can actually come to me as a person I'll be right up on the front lines taking the riskiest gamble with a life that isn't mine.

Garrison corps. Sure, the Survey corps is great if you survive the first couple of missions but I'd likely be the guy smeared across the ground by the female titan or have an unremarkable death being chomped in half. Likewise, I wouldn't have the prerequisites to get into the Military Police and might not join anyway. The bastards are corrupt as hell and when they actually have to fight a titan they are the first to die because they are so corrupt they don't train. At least the Garrison corps has a survival chance no matter how slim.

I went with the Garrison. I find it hard to want to risk being eaten alive, the only way I'd do so is if my family and property were in immediate danger.

Garrison seems like a good balance not as suicidal as the Survey Corps but you can still get some experience fighting titans

Hmm.
I can imagine Military Police.
If I was a character within that universe, I would probably have a hideous backstory. Which probably has me as a slave sold by my family. I would be bought by a rich family, who would beat, torture, and torment me for years. Until one year, I would be old enough, but slave/'servant' to the high family's son. During my weekly beating, a Military Police member comes along, and decides to stop it for some reason, beating the son in the process.

Of course, I, as the dark character, would thank woman and run off, trying to find a hiding spot. This would lead to the heroic lady being trialed, and executed for her crimes of almost killing the 'poor' son. This would be due to the corruption and such, and I think my character would be pissed off enough, and would go on his adventure to kill corruption, find revenge, and compete for justice.

... I think this character would be killed, or transferred to the survey corps, unless he has "plot armour".
Oh yeah, he would lose an arm in there somewhere, replace it with a metal one or something.

Realistically.
Probably Garrison Corps. I would be in that sweet zone of, "being too scarred" or "I don't want to be useless". So quite perfect.
Once again, killed or transferred, but with the slight success of becoming a cynical bastard who doesn't give a shit anymore.
