i've had three girlfriends my entire life, all of which were bisexual which makes me believe i look somewhat like a girl ><. oh, and one bisexual guy hit on me once so i hit him literally, we were friends though so it was all cool a day later
You don't seem to be very good at reading. I'll help you out here and highlight the part you missed.spartandude said:actually they are not the samethingSL33TBL1ND said:Gender can mean sex. Will people please stop using anthropological terms in ways they were not meant to be used!
sex is a biological construct determining whether you have to Xs or a Y chromosome, you use the words Male or Female in this case
Gender is a social construction whether you're a man or a women and what role you play in society
See that? I never said that they always mean the same thing. Just that the word has multiple meanings, and can be used as another word for sex. So yes, the OP did use the word correctly, and people can't say that that meaning is wrong just because they don't like that definition of the word.it has multiple meanings
Friends with benefits?trollnystan said:I've attracted both genders. Well, in a way. The two girls who've hit on me basically just wanted to know if I was available for some what in Swedish is called KK or "kompis knull". I suppose that translates into "friendly fuck"?
I know a guy who would be proud to see this post. You beat him to it! =PRJ Dalton said:Sex. You mean "sex." You attract attention from the wrong SEX. Will people please stop using anthropological terms in ways they were not meant to be used!
I'm in the same boat and I wouldn't have it any other way.l3o2828 said:Oh i have no such issue, since i attract no gender at all.
I think its the challenge thing, the harder it is to get someone the more fun it is ? If your a guy and manage to land a lesbian then well you win a cookie i guess.Hitokiri_Gensai said:i attract the "right" so to speak, gender, men. even though, im a lesbian and have no interest. Strange how that works though, its like people have a homing beacon to the people that DONT have any interest in them.
a little off topic, but why are men attracted to women that by definition, have no interest in them?
Well except for the smoking part I can find that quite attractiv(as a straight male).Aetera said:Snip
What the hell? I'm not even a lipstick lesbian. I'm scrawny and flat-chested, have super-short hair, tattoos, piercings, and usually am wearing a tank, ratty jeans, and steel-toed boots. And I smoke. I do not understand.

It's really wrong to classify men with Klinefelter's Syndrome as "hermaphrodites", many of them are in fact male. And most people considered to be intersexed or born with ambiguous genitalia don't have Klinefelter's. Also, Double Y and Triple X aren't even noticed by most of the people who have them, they're hardly different enough to be considered a different gender.Glass Joe the Champ said:Yay for getting off topic
Call me old fashioned, but I'm pretty sure a male is someone with an XY chromosome and a female is someone with an XX. The only other arguable genders would be mutants like hermaphrodites (XXY), super males (XYY) and super females (XXX). I highly doubt anyone on this forum is one of those though.
Sorry, but plastic surgery/mentality doesn't change genetics.
Oh, I see. Now that's a much more interesting situation, at least from my particular - admittedly overly academic - perspective. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice to offer on the matter. If you want advice, you should probably seek it from people closer to you; you know, the ones who have your best interests in heart and therefore hopefully won't be making their judgements based on personal, political and/or social biases?Hafrael said:No I means gender, and I'm sure the op does too. Regardless of what the physical characteristics are down there I'm attracted to people whose gender is female.
