You can go from a dumb person become them smart. It doesn't work so well when you try to make an ugly son of a ***** look like an Adonis.
seeing as attractiveness is almost never exclusively a physical attractiveness thing, but mental capacity is almost always limited by personality temperament, unattractive and smart.
After all, you can always work out and learn to package yourself. But if you're just not the type to be interested in getting smarter, you're going to be dumb as an ox whilst relying on your good looks to coast through life.

Well I think I'm closer to the later, so might like to try the former, but really I'd probably be happiest if I could be right down the middle on both looks and intelligence. Then again if I was attractive and dumb I wouldn't know how miserable I might be so... I'm starting to feel dizzy.
i embrace my basic plainness, because i know that when the stupid girls and i are old women together, i will have a large number of people to talk to and plenty to talk about, while they comment on their wrinkles or something. it's more fun to be smart-you can amuse yourself!
