There weren't really that many people. I personally know one guy who voted 5000 times. I've only partially disowned him.

Really?

Now that's something I didn't know.

Yeah, so I hear.

They said 'a few' though, so I'm guessing there's more?

*thinks of 4Chan*

No, it can't be.

I heard somewhere that /b/ is responsible for this, it sounds like something they'd do for lulz.
I don't mind getting RR'd, I just say to myself 'Ah damn, got me again.' and close the tab. Losing the game on the other hand, annoys the crap out of me.

If that's true, than wouldn't it be funny, if no one else but him voted for it.

Seems I must have missed something entirely (not a new situation), cos i had to wiki rickrolling. Gawd, I remember when that song was released. At the time I was surprised the end of the world nutters didn't have a fit (I was under 11 years old though, so they may have and I just didn't notice).

As far as sunrise goes, mel and kochie don't have the brain capacity of a toasted vegemite and cheese sanger. No way they'd be able to learn anything on any subject unless it was printed onto the teleprompter for them :p

You watch sunrise, Lord Krunk? For shame. No, leave me be, I can't bare the sight of you anymore. *runs away crying*

Sunrise is a very simple morning show with the only interesting aspect of the entire show is the people standing outside the studio in super hero outfits and occasionally the weather. The fact that they will be surprised by a Rick Roll doesn't come as that much of a shock. There usually surprised by new brands of vacuum cleaners.

I don't like Rick Rolls. Oh sure, it was funny the second time (first time I sat there trying to figure out why someone would send me this link) but after that it just gets annoying. Most Internet memes are like this.

Given the amount of pointless music awards things, I think it is hilarious. Almost as hilarious as Bono's face when it was announced.

I have only been Rick Rolled by one of my friends friends at an little 3 man overnight LAN. The only problem was he wasn't sending links he would just yell across the room "Look how funny this is".

It wasn't funny, it never was.

I agree with you. However, you must understand, when I turned on the TV, it just happened to be Channel 7, and with this article.

You thought I actually watched Sunrise, Fire Daemon? For Shame. No, leave me be, I can't bare bear the sight of you anymore. *Runs away crying*

I quite like RickRolls if they're done well, I just laugh when I get caught out by them.

This is my favourite Rickroll of all time, in Oblivion [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ8xDe9y5GE].

I laughed so much when I first got caught out by it.

I saw the MTV Rickrolling thing in the Times in the UK.

They'd quantified 20 million rick rolls, worldwide.

I still want to Rick Roll the actual Video on Youtube, creating a loop where stupid people get caught forever.
Forever? How? Task Manager, click the x, alt-f4... and of course the most effective, hard power off or reset switch.

Now a virus that replaced your pc's bios boot splash screen with a pic of rick, that would be a challenge to get rid of. For most pc users, anyway.

Aah, of course. I've been hanging out here too long. I keep forgetting the net is actually a place full of smacktards that make you wish you could reach down the ethernet and strangle them.
